Have fans seen the last of Heather Dubrow on The Real Housewives of Orange County?

On the heels of Vicki Gunvalson‘s highly anticipated return, and as casting rumors continue to surface, a couple of social media posts have stated that Heather, 56, may have turned in her resignation to Bravo after appearing on its reality series for nine seasons.

“The streets are talking and it seems like Heather Dubrow has quit ahead of S20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County!!!” the Mary Cosby Fan Page (MCFP) announced to its followers on X on December 17. “Let’s hope the streets are wrong!”

Meanwhile, on Instagram, Marcus White, aka Mr. Housewives, shared a similar report.

“Say it ain’t so!” he declared. “Why am I hearing in the streets that Heather Dubrow is leaving RHOC before Season 20 even begins filming in February?! Heather, don’t you dare leave! Unless you’re headed to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — which, let’s be honest, is where you belong since those women are in the same tax bracket as you.”

According to Marcus, RHOC needs Heather, especially now that Vicki, 63, is coming back.

“Honestly, I don’t fully believe these rumors because Heather seems to be having a great time being back on TV. Still, if she were to leave, would that be her choice… or the network’s?” he wondered, citing a claim about Heather being fired in 2016.

“Many people thought she quit, but that wasn’t the case. After Season 11, Bravo gave Heather her pink slip when she issued an ultimatum — her or Kelly Dodd,” he alleged. “Fast-forward to 2021: Bravo fired Kelly so Heather could return.”

Following the sharing of the casting rumor, fans reacted to the idea that season 20 would be without Heather, who appeared on RHOC for seasons seven through 11 and 16 through 19.

“Heather is on my list of favorite housewives. I HOPE it’s not so. Especially since it looks like she’s been having a great time the last few years,” one person lamented.

“She needs to stay I love her,” another begged.

Others said it was “good” news as they shaded Heather as “boring” and claimed “she gives nothing to the show but criticism [and] judgments.”

“She comes off as like she’s bigger then the problem. Toodles,” someone complained.

Another asked, “Can she take [Emily Simpson] with her?”

Several other Instagram users said that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is “where [Heather] belongs.”

“She’s going to [RHOBH],” one person predicted.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 is expected to go into production sometime early next year.
