Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac are reacting to the revelation that Ashley Darby kissed and had various romantic encounters with Charrisse Jackson Jordan‘s son. Now, Charrisse is reacting after watching the scene unfold.
Ashley confessed to Charrisse during the 12th episode of season 10. She said the kiss happened in 2023 after Charrisse’s son, Jackson Jordan, had driven Ashley home from a crab boil. She later admitted on Watch What Happens Live that there were other interactions following the first.
Recently, social media commentator Georgio Says reported on the kiss between Ashley and Jackson. Specifically, he directed the video to “moms out there” and asked how they would feel if one of their friends became romantically involved with their adult son.
Georgio received comments from lots of people who wanted to weigh in. Most notably, Charrisse chimed in. She started by saying, “I honestly didn’t believe it. One thing I know for sure is that no matter how I respond, people will take issue.”

She then mentioned the editing on the show, saying her “real personality” hasn’t been shown. Charrisse continued, “At this point, I am 60 and just want to pop in and have fun with this group of ladies. I don’t mind meaningful conversations, but to flip out just for cameras over fake or petty issues is not my thing.”
A fan then replied to Charrisse’s comment, saying that Ashley’s mention of kissing Jackson on camera seemed to be an attempt to embarrass her. The commenter also said she would find it disrespectful if she were Charrisse.
The RHOP star replied, “You make a valid point. I can see the disrespect now. At the time of filming, I didn’t believe it. One thing I do know for certain is that there are no real friendships in this business.”
Regarding Ashley adding to the story on Watch What Happens Live, she confirmed that he made the first move. She says she felt “electricity” between the two of them when they touched. Ashley said, “He’s so young. I didn’t think I would like a little youngin like that.”
When asked why she kept the kiss a secret, she said Jackson asked her to. While on the show, she also suggested that there was “more than a kiss.” This was also while he was living in Charrisse’s house.
