Naomie Olindo is engaged.
Less than one year after debuting their romance on social media, the 32-year-old Southern Charm alum and Billy Haire, who were set up by mutual friends, got engaged on a pier with their dogs in Charleston, South Carolina.
“The luckiest girl in the whole wide world,” Naomie wrote in the caption of a December 28 post with Billy, which featured the engagement and a celebration on a beach.
Following the sharing of Naomie’s post, a number of her fellow Southern Charm alums, including Cameran Eubanks-Wimberly, 42, and Taylor Ann Green, 31, spoke out.
“Let the celebrations begin! Year of the STALLION,” wrote Cameran.
“Congratulations to the sweetest humans!!!!” said Taylor.
Then, current cast member Charley Manley, 27, reacted to the news, writing, “Congratulations … love you both so much,” and, “Oh my gosh!!!!!” Madison LeCroy, 35, said she “can’t wait to celebrate.”
Molly O’Connell, 37, weighed in as well, writing, “YAYYY.” Leva Bonaparte, 46, said, “Omg omg omg!!!!!! I’m so happy for yall!!!!!!!”
“Omgggggggg,” added Olivia Flowers, 33.
While Naomie’s ex-boyfriend, Craig Conover, 37, doesn’t appear to have commented on the post quite yet, he had all good things to say about Billy during an episode of Watch What Happens Live earlier this month.
“I have heard more good things about this guy than anyone, and I was recently with friends out in LA, and they used to be friends with him and [his ex-wife, Brooks Nader], and they were like ‘Oh, we miss him. He’s great.’ So apparently she’s in really good hands,” he shared. “I have not met him. I was invited to the Christmas party, but I was up here.”
As for Brooks, 28, Craig encouraged Andy Cohen, 57, to “ask her” when the host suggested the two of them go out on a date.
