Andy Cohen had a trash bin named in his honor in New York City on Tuesday amid his public feud with the city’s former mayor, Eric Adams, who called him out on X after what he deemed as a “sloppy drunken rant” about his “chaotic” and “horrible” term on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live.

After Eric, 65, suggested the 57-year-old Watch What Happens Live host needed “help” for his alleged alcoholism, Andy attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony, where he addressed their ongoing drama.

“If Eric Adams is watching this, wherever he is, what is your message to the former mayor?” a reporter for NBC4 New York asked Andy at the January 6 event.

“I mean, listen, I was having fun, but also, where’s the lie?” he wondered.

Andy also said of the trash bin, “This is hilarious and ironic — I love picking up the trash.”

Andy also mentioned his tiff with Eric on Watch What Happens Live on Monday.

“Eric Adams’ first act as a private citizen was to roast me on Twitter. By the way, Eric Adams, where is the lie? Where’s the lie?!” he asked after airing a snippet of his NYE rant.

In addition to his comments on NBC4 New York and WWHL about Eric, Andy spoke of his appearance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live on Threads, reacting to fans who asked about potential work he had done to his face, and about how his mom, Evelyn Cohen, responded to the show.

“Did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds ! And had a lot of makeup on,” Andy told one person.

Then, another fan asked, “What feedback did your mom give?!?” In response, Andy confirmed, “She loved it!”

During the CNN special, Andy went off on Eric, incorrectly stating that he had been “pardoned,” seemingly in regard to corruption charges that had been brought against him.

“Great, you got your pardons, go off in the sunset. We’ll, we’ll fiddle with what we have, with what you left us with,” he stated. “You pardoned your way through four years, and all the clubs, we’ll see you there.”

He then sarcastically applauded Eric for making moves to cut down on the rat population.
