RHOBH’s Denise Richards Accuses Aaron Phypers’ Family of ‘Crossing a Line’ by Involving Daughter Eloise in Efforts to Raise Funds for GoFundMe Campaign

Denise Richards reacted to the GoFundMe campaign launched for her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, on Tori Spelling‘s podcast on Wednesday.

While also addressing how his mother, Patricia Phypers, mentioned her youngest daughter, Eloise, 14, in a statement on the page, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star accused the family of crossing a line with the campaign, which was launched in December by Patricia and Aaron’s brother, Brett Phypers, before being removed days ago.

“Say whatever you want about me, which they have. I’ll deal with that after the divorce. But when you cross a line and bring my youngest daughter into trying to get money from strangers — it’s outrageous,” Denise said as she acted as a guest host on the January 7 episode of Mispelling, via Us Weekly. “That is wrong.”

As Patricia attempted to raise money for Aaron, she alleged that she had “cared for Eloise for weeks” while Denise was traveling, as she begged for people to “help my son fight for the truth and for Eloise.”

Although Denise was believed to have started the adoption process for Aaron to become the legal father of Eloise, whom she adopted in 2011, the paperwork was never finalized, meaning that Aaron had no rights to the child after they split.

Denise didn’t address the legal matter on the podcast but said she was hurt by the claims made in the campaign.

“It’s hard enough going through a divorce and the loss of that, but then to discover who this person really is, that’s what is beyond hurtful,” she explained. “Then to go to this level, to bring my daughter into it. It’s more [of] a personal thing. It is shocking, but whatever. I’m not surprised.”

According to Us Weekly, the campaign had raised $60 of its intended $30,000 goal. However, screenshots taken of the campaign last week showed it raised over $1,300 of a $110,000 goal.

As RHOBH fans will recall, Aaron filed for divorce in July after six years of marriage, and days later, Denise requested a restraining order against him, signaling his alleged abuse. And while Aaron repeatedly denied having harmed his estranged wife, Denise was granted a permanent restraining order in November.

Also on the podcast, Denise suggested that she would tell all about the inner workings of her marriage to Aaron once their divorce was over.

“I really want to get through my actual divorce, and then I will share,” she teased.

In addition to speaking out on Tori’s podcast, Denise also seemingly addressed the GoFundMe campaign on Instagram, with a telling message about “narcissists.”

“Narcissists are masters of manipulation,” her statement read. “They play the poor, abused victim while launching a mass smear campaign against anyone who dared to stand up to them.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
