The Real Housewives of New Jersey still has no season 15 cast.

After season 14 concluded with a major divide among the women, some of whom were Team Teresa Giudice, 53, and others of whom sided with Melissa Gorga, 46, in their since-ended feud, an insider has revealed that producers are “having a hard time” finding the right group of housewives and have brought in a new third-party team to interview potential newbies.

“Previous producers have been having a hard time finding the right cast and fit,” an insider told Us Weekly on January 13. “They didn’t like the newcomers who were test filming last year in August.”

According to the report, the casting team is searching for a diverse group of women from all different parts of the Garden State.

“They are going full speed ahead with casting over the next month and a half,” the source shared. “The current cast could have answers if they’re coming back to the show in the next couple of months.”

As RHONJ fans will recall, Jackie Goldschneider, 49, and Jennifer Aydin, 48, who announced her exit from the series in October, sided with Teresa amid season 14, and Margaret Josephs, 58, Danielle Cabral, 40, and Rachel Fuda, 34, remained loyal to Melissa. Meanwhile, Dolores Catania, 54, who will be featured as a “friend” on the debut season of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and Jennifer Fessler, 55, did their best to stay in the middle.

As for who could possibly return, that’s apparently up in the air for everyone.

“None of the current cast members know yet if they are coming back [for season 15],” the insider continued. “Producers could recast the whole show.”

Following reports of test filming between Melissa, Margaret, Dolores, and potential newbies in August 2025, Teresa reconciled with Melissa and her brother, Joe Gorga, 51, and ultimately celebrated Christmas together.

While there have been rumors swirling in regard to a potential cancellation of the series, Andy Cohen, 57, confirmed last June on The View that that was not the case.

“It was really on a deep pause, and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be,” he said. “It’s a great franchise, and we love it. I just have to reiterate that.”
