Heather Gay claimed the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast “didn’t notice” that Andy Cohen walked off the set amid a fight during an interview on Thursday.
As she also revealed whether she’d ever go off GLP-1s, Heather, 51, looked back on the moment in which Andy, 57, left the stage in frustration while also reacting to Meredith Marks, 54, suggesting she was the “puppet master” of the group and offering an update on where she stands with Lisa Barlow, 51.
“I can tell you that we were all fighting so hard that we didn’t notice until he had, like, cleared the stage,” she told Us Weekly on January 15. “Then, we were like, ‘Come back, come back, we can’t fight without you!’”
“If we get into it in Salt Lake and we only forget cameras are there, we forget that Andy is there, and that is a testament to our cast,” she added.
As for Meredith calling her a “puppet master” on a recent episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Heather accused her co-star of “[switching] up how [she felt] about me overnight,” describing Meredith’s 180 as a “shocker.”
“[It’s also] flattering. I’ll take it. I mean, I would love to be the puppet master of these crazy ladies,” she continued. “No one pulls their strings. They pull their own. They are masterminds and do power moves. I am like a duck trying to keep up, so I’ll take the compliment — and coming from a powerhouse like Meredith — I can’t believe she would give that up so easily to me, but I’ll take it.”
Moving on to Lisa, Heather noted that the two of them “fight hard” and confirmed they hadn’t spoken since the reunion.
“We haven’t spoken yet, but I look forward to hashing it out with her more,” she stated.
During another interview with Us Weekly, Heather said she was “focused on how [she feels]” after embarking on a weight loss journey in 2023 with Ozempic and revealed she had no plans to quit taking the medication.
“I think that’s part of my daily routine as much as I have, you know, nutritional choices to support it,” she explained. “This is working for me, and I’m just grateful to be here.”
After confirming on a September 2024 episode of RHOSLC that she’d lost 25 pounds, Heather said she felt “super comfortable” in her body “for the first time.”
“I feel healthy every day. I feel like I am taking care of my body. And for my whole life, I’ve just been trying to, like, work around my body,” she explained. “This is a new chapter for me, like being comfortable in my body and maintaining my weight and kind of having so much attention on it.”
In addition to Ozempic, Heather is consuming Atkins shakes and protein bars to “support” her healthier lifestyle.
“I really needed snacks and foods that would help me maintain this new lifestyle [and] fit with what I want to eat and what I enjoy doing,” she shared. “I’m really super conscious of everything that’s going into my body, and I really find that I need protein to maintain my shape and to keep me going throughout the day, and fiber helps me feel better.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six reunion continues this Tuesday, January 20, with part two at 8/7c on Bravo.
