Dorinda Medley appeared on Monday night’s Watch What Happens Live, where she opened up about a tense, unaired moment she experienced with Caroline Stanbury on the set of The Traitors.
As she also spoke of Lisa Rinna, 62, violating the Real Housewives sisterhood with Porsha Williams, 44, Luann de Lesseps‘ new man, and Ramona Singer‘s potential run for office, the 61-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum addressed fans’ negative reaction to Michael Rapaport, 55, and admitted that she was “surprised” producers didn’t air her dispute with Caroline, 49.
“It was a little bit of housewifery, maybe a little bit too much housewifery,” Dorinda suspected on the January 26 episode of WWHL before explaining what happened between them.
“I love Caroline Stanbury. I’ve known her forever. But she was being very bossy with me, and I warned her a couple times. I warned her two or three times, and I said, ‘If you do it one more time, it’s not going to be very good for you.’ And then she did it,” she shared. “And you know how I am … When I’m good, I’m great. When I’m bad, I’m terrible.”
As for Lisa voting to banish Porsha the first night, she said, “That I was suspicious about. I was very surprised and very, very bummed out.”
Moving on to Michael, Dorinda clarified Andy Cohen‘s suggestion that they were “close.”
“I don’t know if we’re close. What it is is he’s part of the Bravo universe, so we know him through Bravo and BravoCon and that kind of thing. But we’re not like having dinner,” she noted.
She then reacted to his antics on The Traitors.
“The eating was unbelievable. It was a spectacle. It really was,” she mentioned. “I didn’t realize, because I never really watched his Instagram or understood what he does outside of seeing him at BravoCon or being a Bravolebrity on Watch What Happens Live. I had no idea he was so aggressively vocal, so it was a little overwhelming.”
When asked about the man Luann, 60, was recently seen kissing, Dorinda confirmed her former co-star is “very happy.”
“I did meet him, and he’s wonderful,” she revealed. “Luann is very happy. That’s all we want at this point, is a little happiness.”
Also on the live broadcast, after admitting she had “no idea” if Ramona, 69, was running for office, but said she “would be good,” Dorinda was asked to reveal which housewives were the most iconic. And in response, she claimed Kyle Richards, 57, was more iconic than Lisa Vanderpump, 65, said Karen Huger, 62, was more iconic than Gizelle Bryant, 55, and suggested that Kandi Burruss, 49, was more iconic than Cynthia Bailey, 58, describing Kandi as “an icon and a businesswoman, and a powerhouse.”
She also said Phaedra Parks, 52, was more iconic than Porsha, since she was “closer” to Phaedra, and she named Mary Cosby, 53, as more iconic than Heather Gay, 51.
“Mary is making a run for everyone’s money,” she explained.
Then, while appearing on the WWHL: After Show, Dorinda shared the moment from RHONY that she was criticized for, but still doesn’t regret.
“I never regret yelling out, ‘Jovani! Jovani! Jovani!’ Never,” she stated.
