Britani Bateman reacted to a rumor claiming she’s been fired from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City ahead of season seven on her Instagram Story.
As her castmate, Whitney Rose, 39, took to her feed to seemingly announce that she would be returning to the show, Britani, 54, who featured her on-and-off romance with Jared Osmond, 55, throughout seasons five and six, responded to a fan’s comments about her alleged exit.
“Ting Ting, I have an announcement!” the Mary Cosby Fan Page announced on X on February 6. “According to my sources, friend of, Britani Bateman is out ahead of [season seven] filming! Contracts have gone out and it seems like Broadway Baby didn’t get one.”

After the post was made, and Mr. Housewives reported on the news on Instagram, a fan said on their Instagram Story that Britani potentially being fired was a “big mistake.”
Tagging Bravo and Andy Cohen, 57, the person said, “Big mistake … This better be fake news!! Because we need her as a friend. Don’t even play with us like that!! I need someone to confirm this [rumor] … ASAP!”
Shortly thereafter, Britani responded by resharing the post on her own Story.
In Mr. Houswives’ post, he’d revealed that Britani “might not be returning” for the new season.
“Word on the curb is that she may not have been offered a contract as production begins for the next season,” he stated, noting that he hoped the news was true.
“Britani was exhausting to watch and incredibly difficult to connect with as a viewer. Her storyline felt frustrating, and the way she handled her personal life, especially when it came to her daughters, left a bad taste for a lot of fans,” he continued.

As for Whitney, she posted a series of glammed-up photos of herself on Instagram on February 4.
“Seven has always been a lucky number,” she declared.

In the comments, fans expressed excitement in her potential return, saying, “YAYYY,” “THATS MY GIRL!!!!!!!,” and “She’s back!”
“Season seven can’t come soon enough,” another added.
No word yet on when filming will begin on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven.
