Crystal Kung-Minkoff reacted to the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on a couple of recent podcast episodes.

As she confirmed where she stands with Kyle Richards, 57, after her “college” clap back on her shared podcast with Cynthia Bailey, 58, and revealed the show’s “problem,” Crystal, 43, spoke of getting pressured by producers and admitted that while she thinks Amanda Frances, 41, is “annoying,” she believes the cast has been “relentless” and made a habit of gaslighting the newbie.

“I do think it’s boring, but I do feel like the second half will be promising,” Crystal suggested on the February 12 episode of My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast. “I can feel that things are happening.”

According to Crystal, it’s easy to focus on a new cast member when they are brought to the show.

“[Amanda]’s an easy target. She’s annoying. I don’t believe in her business. Honestly, I do think Amanda’s incredibly annoying. No one thinks she’s not annoying, right? No one’s like, ‘I really love her demeanor.’ We’ve established that, but … The way they’re questioning her and her business, like, ‘I don’t really get it,’ and it’s kind of like how they questioned me about my feelings. It’s a very gaslight-y thing to do,” she explained.

As for the ladies’ suggestion that Amanda’s money business is a scam, Crystal wasn’t buying it.

“It’s not a scam business. She’s very clear, like, ‘If you want me to tell you, you can financially prosper, give me 100 bucks.’ Dude, I would take 100 bucks!” Crystal noted. “But they just are relentless, and I think that sucks. Also, it’s kind of boring for the show. It’s already been nine episodes. Enough already. You think she’s a scam artist. Say it and move on.”

“It’s not good for the show. A couple of episodes, it’s fine. It’s actually fine. It’s funny. Whatever. She’s the new girl. Haze her a little bit, but it’s actually boring,” she continued.

Crystal then suspected that the cast “probably got a talking to” by producers.

“It seems like everybody is now activated, and I can say that because we’ve all had talkings to, I’ve had talkings to. So there’s a lot of pressure,” she revealed. “Producers will come in, like, ‘This is not going well.’ It also happens kind of in a public setting where it’s like the whole cast … They’ll just come in and slam the table, like, ‘Are you putting on a show, guys?’”

Meanwhile, on her own podcast, Crystal spoke of the online drama she faced with Kyle after firing back at a comment Kyle made on the show. As fans may have seen, Kyle compared Crystal to Amanda in a confessional after Amanda said she was “verbally accosted” by Dorit Kemsley, 49, and proceeded to read the description of the word. According to Kyle, the moment reminded her of when Crystal said she felt “violated” by Sutton Stracke, 54, amid season 11 and explained what the word meant.

“I was in the comments. I posted it because she started it. I saw Kyle the week before. We’re good. I don’t really care. I don’t think it’s that deep on either side,” Crystal explained on Humble Brag.

In her clap-back comment, Crystal had written, “College isn’t for everyone,” and added a hashtag for “Reading is Hard.”

Reflecting on her decision to react to Kyle’s shade, Crystal explained, “I have to clap back at people who, they were constantly litigating my words and saying, ‘You can’t use these words,’ and I’m like, when I look back, I’m like, I don’t actually know or care or think that they cared that they knew what the word was. I just think it was a carrot of, like, this is a storyline. It’s just building a show, making a show.”

“I didn’t know that at the time because I could’ve been like, ‘You guys are all dumb, and moving on.’ But I got sucked into it, like, ‘Oh my god, they’re talking about my words.’ So you just learn on the job, and sometimes it takes a little bit longer,” she went on.

But when it comes to Kyle, Crystal confirmed, “It wasn’t that deep then. It’s not that deep now.”

Also on the episode, Crystal said that the “problem” with RHOBH right now is that the cast is focused only on one thing.

“If Amanda is the only thing you’re talking about, it’s a problem,” she stated.
