The Real Housewives of Miami cast was reportedly due to begin filming season eight “six weeks ago,” so what’s the holdup?
According to a new report, the series, which included a season seven cast of Alexia Nepola, 58, Larsa Pippen, 51, Lisa Hochstein, 43, Guerdy Abraira, 48, Julia Lemigova, 53, and Stephanie Shojaee, 41, and “friends” Adriana de Moura, 60, Marysol Patton, 59, and Kiki Barth, 36, will definitely return for more episodes. However, due to “casting issues,” the timeline has been pushed back.
“We will resume filming soon,” an insider told Radar Online on February 23.
Although one source insisted that everything “was good,” it was noted by another that some “recasting” had to be done. And another source shared that cameras “should have gone up approximately six weeks ago,” adding that a “multitude of things” led to the delay, including “casting issues.”
“It’s happening,” a different insider explained. “Just a bit late.”
As RHOM fans may have seen, tensions appear to have been high among the cast in recent months, with a couple of public fights being reported.
Back in November 2025, it was revealed that Lisa and Julia had engaged in a profanity-laced screaming match at a Miami airport, during which Julia accused Lisa of trash-talking her to the press. The ladies then engaged in some back-and-forth on social media, with Lisa suggesting that Julia’s confrontation could have been made in an effort to gain press amid rumors claiming that both she and Guerdy may not be included in season eight.
Months later, in January, amid filming on the Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip in Miami, Alexia and Adriana were seen in a heated argument at a group party with their castmates.
At the time, a source told Radar Online that it was nothing more than a “stupid argument.”
“Alexia was jealous that Adriana was performing to celebrate 20 years of The Real Housewives,” the insider shared. “She was so livid that she and Marysol walked out during her performance. Due to this, Adriana confronted her.”
“Alexia made it all about herself and didn’t respect the celebration,” they added.
