Hailey Glassman is firing back at Claudia Oshry after the influencer, also known as Girl With No Job, called her out for being a “deep internet troll, since 2017.”
In a statement, the 39-year-old publicist and Real Housewives of New York City newbie brought up a racism scandal that Claudia, 31, endured years ago, denied trolling her, and slammed her for past bullying, as she suggested she should be embarrassed for taking aim at her publicly.
“For an influencer who had to apologize for her bullying and racist comments, even losing her podcast for racism, it’s unfortunate she feels the need to attack Ms. Glassman,” Hailey’s rep, Adriane Schwartz, began in a March 4 statement to the Daily Mail, signaling a 2018 scandal in which Claudia’s The Morning Breath podcast was canceled due to her past anti-Muslim tweets. “Hailey’s responses were in no way ‘trolling.’ She was simply engaging with Claudia’s provocative content.”
“Ms Glassman responded to her posts appropriately, even sending a sweet Mazel Tov for the birth of her child and offering sound advice to be respectful of her young followers when she seemed to be dishonest regarding the use of weight loss drugs. Which is a legitimate relevant issue,” the rep continued. “Ms Glassman is the daughter of a very respected and prominent plastic surgeon who offered her plastic surgery advice to an outspoken influencer who posts non stop about her weight. Let’s face it, bullying Ms. Glassman all while playing the victim, after openly having to apologize for her own past bullying is a bad look. She should be embarrassed.”
Then, in a final clap back, after noting that Hailey was “in support of all people … every shape, every size,” the rep added, “Hailey stands by her comment regarding her distaste for Claudia’s voice.”
Last Monday, hours after news of Hailey’s role on RHONY was confirmed, Claudia shared a series of screenshots in which Hailey was seen complaining that her voice was “so annoying,” comparing her to Janice from Friends, and sharing messages about her weight.
“Damn you were thin!” Hailey wrote in response to a throwback photo Claudia shared.
“Skinny Minnie now,” she posted in another.
Then, in a third, Hailey called out Claudia over potential lies about her weight loss.
“Looks great but you gotta own you’re on Wegovy. You’re an influencer and you really should be honest on your platform about it. When you need any skin tightening since you def lost enough to need it, I’ll set you up with a great plastic surgeon in NYC,” she told Claudia, who clarified that she was on Ozempic.
In other messages, Hailey suggested Claudia visit her dad, plastic surgeon Dr. Lawrence Glassman, for a neck lift, and noted that she was “skinnier pregnant than she was two years prior, not pregnant.”
Hailey even took aim at Claudia’s husband, Ben Soffer, 33, and his “dad bod.”
