Sai De Silva shared a statement with her fans and followers on her Instagram on Saturday in regard to her split from husband David Craig.
After David filed for divorce last Thursday, after eight years of marriage and two children, London, 14, and son Rio, 8, the 45-year-old Real Housewives of New York City star thanked her online audience for their support as she confirmed she was focused on providing her kids with stability following their breakup.
“Thank you for the kindness, grace, and support so many of you have shown me. I’m overwhelmed by all your messages and it truly means more than you know,” Sai wrote on April 4. “My heart is with my children, and my focus is on giving them as much stability and love as possible … Living life publicly isn’t always easy, but it’s a reminder that we should all lead with compassion. You never really know what someone is navigating behind the scenes.”

As RHONY fans may recall, Sai and David faced rumors of a potentially impending split last year after Sai began hunting for a new home. However, at the time, the reality star and content creator insisted that the two of them were not splitting up.
“I’m NOT getting a divorce because I’m looking for apartments,” Sai told a fan who questioned her about the reported breakup. “Stop jumping to conclusions. I’ll tell you about it later, it’s really not an interesting story to be honest.”
Sai and David’s split is expected to be a hot topic on the upcoming season of RHONY, which will feature Sai alongside returning cast members Erin Lichy, 38, Jessel Taank, 46, and Carole Radziwill, 62, and several new women, including Daisy Toye, Hailey Glassman, 39, and Erika Hammond.
No word yet on a premiere date for The Real Housewives of New York City season 16.
