Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby’s late son Robert Cosby Jr.’s ex-wife, Alexiana Arian Smokoff, is seen accusing him of shocking physical abuse in recently released bodycam footage from November 2025.
As Alexiana was seen chatting with the Salt Lake City Police Department about a May 2024 incident between herself and Robert Jr., she claimed that he “beat the sh*t out of” her after she flushed the pills he was allegedly abusing down the toilet and hit her so hard that her ear began to bleed.
“On May 18, my husband, who I’m separated with, beat the sh*t out of me,” Alexiana stated, via a report shared by TMZ on April 7. “And I think it happened because he was abusing pills, and I flushed them.”
As she gave a nod to a video of the encounter she had on her phone, Alexiana revealed that Robert Jr. had been “throwing stuff at” her and “chasing” her.
“He locked me inside the house,” she revealed. “[And] he hit me so hard that my ear bled.”
According to Alexiana, she didn’t get medical help at the time because Robert Jr. and Mary, 53, “wouldn’t let [her] leave.”
“I’m a little stressed. I have to see him again in court, and [Robert Jr.] has been breaking into my home. He broke my front window,” she told police.
Then, after confirming she had taken a protective order out against him, Alexiana claimed Robert Jr., who was in jail at the time of her discussion with the cops, ignored the order because he had “no regard for the law.”
Mary also spoke to the police about the incident, but she denied that her son was violent.
Alexiana and Robert Jr. got married in August 2022, and their divorce was finalized in January.
As a result of the May 2024 incident and Alexiana’s claims against him, Robert Jr. was charged with two counts of domestic violence on February 5. However, those charges were tossed out following his tragic passing on February 23.
