Bozoma “Boz” Saint John opened up about her ongoing fertility journey with her fiancé, Keely Watson, after last Thursday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As she continues to showcase the ups and downs of the IVF process on the show, Boz, 49, revealed she was in the midst of her third round of hormones as she admitted that she and Keely would soon have to “get practical” and consider other options to start a family.

“I’m still on the damn journey. I’m still taking my damn hormones. Lord, help me. Round three. We’re still going. But at some point, we’ve gotta make some practical decisions. At some point, we’ve gotta get practical because we’ve gotta decide when we’re gonna stop trying this and try something else,” Boz explained on the April 2 episode of the RHOBH: After Show.

After mentioning donor eggs and adoption, saying there are “lots of options,” Boz revealed that she and Keely have not yet reached the point where they are ready to give up on her carrying their potential child.

“I mean, look, now I’ve been on these hormones for well over a year. It’s a long time. And I do believe that we talk so well, because we communicate so well and very honestly,” she shared.

According to Boz, Keely knows “everything that [she’s] feeling,” even the complicated stuff, and “the stuff that [she’s] scared to say out loud. And, she knows all that he’s feeling as well.

“He’s never been a parent before. You know, this is the first time he’s going through any of this. His fears and his concerns, we talk about all of that,” she stated.

While Boz said she feels better now about not carrying their child than she did before, she’s still not completely sold on the idea of relinquishing that control.

“I don’t want him not to have the experience of a pregnant wife, and also, I think for me, there’s just some feelings of like, I don’t know what that person’s doing. How do I give control of this very precious process to somebody else?” she explained.

“But I think, as the practicalities of this journey are on me, you know, I can’t keep trying forever,” Boz continued. “At some point, I’ve gotta let it go. And if it’s not working, and we still want a baby, which we do, then we’ve gotta figure out something else. But to that point, I don’t know when this journey ends. I don’t know how many times I can feel the loss. I don’t know how many times my heart can take it.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
