On the new season of Below Deck Down Under, Ellie stepped in as galley hand after Alesia Harris switched to a position as a stew. Throughout the episodes, Ellie has especially clashed with Chef Ben Robinson.
On the Below Deck Down Under After Show, Ellie suggested that Daisy is “under the impression” that her “rank” is the “most important” on the boat.
“Which is not the case,” Ellie added, via @tasteof_reality on Instagram. “Because guess what? We could get through a charter without Daisy. That’s just a matter of fact. If Daisy was to leave, maybe it wouldn’t be as smooth. But the girls could make cocktails without her.”
“They could make cabins without her. They could clean the boat without her. They know what they’re doing,” she said. “So the operations would run pretty seamlessly without her there.”
After the interview dropped, Daisy reacted in a social media video.
“So I am catching up on the After Show,” said Daisy. “And yeah, Ellie, the boat will also run without you.”
In her After Show interview, Ellie also recalled when she learned she would work on the boat.
“I found out at the airport I was gonna work in the galley,” said the star. “I was waiting for my connecting flight when I got the call from Captain Jason Chambers.”
“I can barely fry an egg. Like, I am the worst person to be ever taking on this job,” she added. “But I already promised Captain Jason I was coming to help out. But I knew that everything happens for a reason, and I just had faith I was gonna do my best.”
But Ellie said she was “prepared” regarding her luggage.
“I always travel with a costume,” she explained. “This charter season, once again, I’ve got about, I think, like, eight bags of lingerie. I’m always prepared for a good time, with costumes, lingerie, toys, ring lights, you name it. I’m good to go.”
