Erika Jayne Claims Amanda Told Camera Crew to Get a “Shot of [Her] Chanel Bag” in RHOBH Preview, Plus Amanda Reveals How Her Husband Reacted to Comments about His Salary, as Costars Defend Him

In a preview of the upcoming reunion, Erika Jayne claimed Amanda Frances told the camera crew to get a “shot of [her] Chanel bag.” Amanda also recalled how her husband, Eddie, reacted to her onscreen comments about his salary, as co-stars defended him.

On the new season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Amanda (a money manifestation teacher) talked often about her designer belongings. She also claimed she makes more in a month than Eddie does in a year. Many co-stars were put off by Amanda’s comments about her wealth.

“[You were] telling the cameramen to please make sure you get a shot of my Chanel bag,” said Erika to Amanda in a reunion preview, via @tantrumsandtaglines on Instagram. “You cannot lead with that s**t. We are too old and too experienced. We want you, not the veneer.”

Amanda then clapped back, “I think the misconception [is] that I was somehow hiding me.”

“It felt that way,” said Erika. “You’ve rubbed everybody the wrong way.”

Later on, Andy Cohen questioned Amanda about “how you speak about your husband,” as Andy cited a fan who claimed Amanda makes him “sound like a freeloader.”

“Eddie’s not a freeloader,” said Amanda, via @bravotalktoomuch on Instagram. “He has a job. He owns a company. He works. He’s a wonderful man. He’s a good, good, good, good man. He takes care of me in a million ways every day. … He knows I make more money than him. He knows I’m super proud of it.”

“How does he feel about you putting that on blast, though?” said Andy.

“I don’t think he would consider it on blast,” Amanda answered.

“Did he say anything to you about that?” asked Kyle Richards.

“[After I said that] I make more in a month than he makes in a year … he’s like, ‘Yes, that is true. And maybe you didn’t have to say it that way,'” Amanda recalled.

Rachel Zoe suggested that Amanda’s comments were “disrespectful” to Eddie.

Later on, Amanda shared why she addressed their finances in this way, saying, “Listen, for what I do, it is just in me that I want women to know always that they can do it.”

The three-part Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 reunion begins Thursday, April 23, at 8/7c on Bravo.
