The Valley star Michelle Saniei made headlines earlier this week when she was spotted out with rap mogul Dr. Dre.
What’s more, in the leaked photos, they were holding hands, which seemed to suggest the pair were romantically involved.
To date, neither Dr. Dre nor Michelle has commented on the photos or the alleged relationship; however, Teddi Mellencamp revealed Michelle’s ex Jesse Lally‘s reaction on her Two T’s in a Pod podcast.
After claiming she texted him asking about Dr. Dre, Teddi shared Jesse stated he was “wondering why Isabella [the daughter he shares with Michelle] got a new pair of Beats.”
And while this seems like an odd pairing, The Sun exclusively reported how Dr. Dre and Michelle met.
According to the report, Ashley Palmer-Gilkey is the general manager of Aftermath Records, Dr. Dre’s label. She is also a close friend of Michelle, which is how she met Dr. Dre.
An insider dished that Michelle has been around Dr. Dre “for months,” though it’s unknown how long they have been romantically involved.
They also shared that Michelle and Ashley have been friends for a long time.
Before Dr. Dre, Michelle was last linked to Aaron Nosler, whom she broke up with in July 2025.
Earlier this month, Michelle spoke out to give more details about her split from Aaron after the season three premiere of The Valley.
“I was very surprised, because I didn’t see any signs. I thought he was really happy. I was very happy. [And] he was the one that had the conversation with me that I should move in, and I’m like, ‘Really think about this,’” Michelle explained on the April 1 episode of The Valley: After Show.
Michelle noted Aaron nitpicked “every single thing” about her and was vocal about her not going to the gym often enough.
Regardless, she claimed she was uncertain as to what happened with them.
“He was very proper in that he left the house, and he went to live with his mom for a couple months while I found a place, so Isabella and I were totally fine alone, and I was very grateful for that,” she explained.
She did admit Isabella was hurt by her relationship with Aaron coming to an end.
“I remember she cried. We actually went to Jesse’s house for an hour, and all of us hung out. And then a few days later, she was totally fine,” Michelle said.
Jesse also spoke out about the impact Aaron and Michelle’s relationship ending had on Isabella, applauding Aaron for being “a man” and still answering Isabella’s FaceTime calls and audio messages.
“Eventually, that will end. But I really appreciated how much he stepped up to the plate after they moved out. It was a very big thing for him to do,” he stated.
Regardless, Jesse was still vocal about his frustrations with Aaron.
“Only the strongest man can accept being a stepfather and being a provider for a child, and he’s not f*cking strong. He’s a weak man,” Jesse said. “I appreciate the fact that he wants to create a stable relationship with my daughter, but how dare you let her move into your house and have a life with you and then have a retroactive list?”
