Scheana Shay recalled what Stassi Schroeder allegedly said about Lisa Vanderpump, as she clapped back at Stassi’s recent shade on Vanderpump Villa. Scheana also shared the real reason she believes Stassi joined Lisa’s Hulu show.
On the new season of Vanderpump Villa, Lisa and Stassi (her ex-employee on Vanderpump Rules) threw major shade at Scheana, who spoke negatively about Lisa in a recent memoir. In one episode, Stassi accused Scheana of being involved in drama surrounding Jessi Draper and Marciano Brunette on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
On her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana clapped back as she recalled her past conversation with Stassi.
“Stassi [and I] were at a birthday party … right when we were maybe filming The Valley season two,” said Scheana. “[At the time] we still [thought Pump Rules was] coming back for season 12.”
“Jeremiah was talking to Stassi [at the party], and they were trying to get her back,” Scheana went on, presumably referring to a producer. “Cause we were thinking [there] might be one final season [of Pump Rules]. Stassi and I were in a good place then. And so we’re at this birthday party, and I was like, ‘Okay, so like what do you think? Is it a name-your-price [situation]? Like, would you come back?'”
But according to Scheana, Stassi was adamantly against it because of Lisa.
“[Stassi] was like, ‘Honestly, Scheana, I can’t do it. I will never sit down and have a conversation with Lisa Vanderpump,'” Scheana recalled. “And I was like, ‘Really?’ And she goes, ‘That’s what it would be. It would be me coming back to the show, and I have to have a sit-down [with Lisa] like I did season three or four … And I’ll never do that.'”
“So then imagine my shock … when I hear she’s going on Vanderpump Villa,” Scheana continued, before alluding to why she thinks Stassi did it. “You do what you gotta do to get your bag, get your [own] show [on Hulu] picked up, all of that. Respect. Honestly, [I] might have done the same thing.”
