In the midst of Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards‘ wife, Amanda Conner, being arrested for a DUI, Farrah Abraham has reached out and offered to help.
Farrah initially took to her Instagram Story to share the report on Amanda’s arrest, writing, “Sad. She needs a actual sponsor in her life – not family.”

She also commented on another post about Amanda, writing, “Amanda call me if you need a AA certified sponsor – your life will never be the same for the better. God bless.”

Farrah spoke exclusively to Reality Blurb after her posts to share more about her olive branch to help Amanda.
“I wanted to just extend myself as an AA sponsor for Amanda,” she began. “I feel so sympathetic towards what she’s going through, and as we’ve seen, this is nothing new to the 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom cast, as we just watched Surviving 16 and Pregnant on Hollywood Demons this past week.”
Farrah noted that a lot of lives have been lost to addiction, including her daughter Sophia‘s dad, who died in a car accident due to alcohol.
“So I just wanted to extend myself,” she continued. “When I see someone [whose] spiritual melody is upset, which the highest form of that on the spiritual melody chart is legal problems, losing our jobs, jail, putting others at risk, not getting sleep, not eating properly – so when I see those signs… as a member of AA who got certified from an intensive trauma program… I offer myself as a sponsor.”
Farrah also explained that there are “amazing centers” that offer intensive programs in Austin, Texas, which Amanda could take advantage of to get help.
“I just wanted to offer that support,” Farrah added, “because sometimes it is hard to get a good sponsor, hard to get someone to hold them accountable, and so if she has finally come to her lowest point and she is ready, and she would like a sponsor who is out of state to go on top of with her self-inventory and her own meetings. Separated in a way from her personal living situation.”
Farrah noted she extended herself “out of the goodness of my heart.”
“I just know what works and I do it, and I just got my five-year chip the other day at an AA meeting, and I would love to see others and 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom succeed in having their dreams come true and fulfill their goals for themselves with AA and addiction,” she continued. “So that’s just all that I’ve done.”
Farrah explained she believes the families “need to go to Al-Anon groups and better see how they can support Amanda.”
Additionally, she said she has not blocked Amanda on Instagram so there is “line of communication” that’s open to her.
Amanda was arrested on Sunday, May 24, and she was charged with child abuse/neglect, driving on the wrong side of the road, and driving under the influence, according to TMZ. They noted her bond was set at $16,000.
In 911 audio that the outlet obtained, a dispatcher was heard telling authorities that a husband had called the cops on his wife to report she had left with “their baby” in the car. They said he was worried his wife had been using narcotic drugs, as she refused to be drug tested.
Amanda did eventually get out of prison. One of the conditions of her release was that she was not allowed to have contact with her daughter, Presley, at least until her June 3 court date. She was also spotted wearing an ankle monitor.
