Devyn Simone, a reality star who has previously appeared on The Real World: Brooklyn, The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons, and The Challenge: Free Agents has joined The Real Housewives of New York City for season 16.
According to a new report, Devyn, 38, will be joining the show in a “friend of” role.
She will be joining Carole Radziwill, who is returning to RHONY in a “friend of” role as well, reported Deadline.
Aside from being a reality TV vet, Devyn is also a dating expert and matchmaker, and has appeared on The Sherri Shepherd Show, Today, and Good Morning America.
Devyn and Carole will be joined by returning RHONY stars Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Jessel Tank. Newbies Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye are rounding out the cast, with Martha Stewart set to make some appearances.
While not a ton is known about what will go down on season 16, Sai is going through a divorce from her husband David Craig.
Sai recently spoke out on Page Six Radio, sharing that she didn’t know her divorce was going to go public in the manner it did.
“I’m in a really good place now,” she said at the time. “I think at first I was a little shaken up and — and a little bit upset. I respect David so much, you know? That’s somebody I’ve been with for 17 years. He’s the father of my kids. I never want this to be seen in a way like, ‘I can’t stand him, and we’re so angry with each other.’”
Sai gave fans some insight into what went wrong, stating that if “you don’t grow together, you grow apart, and it’s really hard to glue it back once you’ve grown apart.”
Sai also commented on Hailey during the interview, calling her “cool.”
“I promise you. Like, I’m not going to steer you wrong… She has something about her that is so endearing and sweet, and there is absolutely no ill intent, and I cannot wait for everyone to see… what actually happens,” she added.
Bravo has yet to announce an official premiere date for season 16 of RHONY.
