Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo slammed The Valley star Danny Booko as a “rat.”

On the currently airing third season of The Valley, Danny’s behavior while intoxicated – as well as his treatment of his wife, Nia Sanchez – has been a hot topic.

On her Giggly Squad podcast, Paige took him to task.

“People talk about The Valley all the time, and I’ve never watched a single second of The Valley,” Paige began. “I was never a Jax [Taylor] fan. And I feel like he got like some like redemption for like a minute when the show started and like whatever.

She continued, “So, it was just no one from Vanderpump [Rules] that like I would have tuned in for. But like now on TikTok, I’ll see clips and I don’t even know any of their names.”

Paige then turned her attention to Danny and Nia, praising Nia but dissing Danny as a “rat.”

“There’s this one girl on there and she’s gorgeous. She’s beautiful. And her husband is a little rat,” shared Paige about Danny. “Like an actual rat.”

“And she like just had a baby and he’s – I mean, diabolical. That’s the thing. It’s one of the craziest things,” she added.

Amid all of the backlash about his behavior towards Nia, Danny recently took to his Instagram Story to issue a public apology.

Danny began by admitting he’s “so sorry” to the person he loves “most,” his “beautiful wife.”

“Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy,” he stated. “It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of. A short fuse, stress, alcohol, and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you.”

Danny added that “balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens.”

“I love, honor, and respect you deeply,” he continued, “and I did not show that in some of these moments.”

“Nia, I love you so much,” Danny wrapped with sharing. “I’m grateful for you, our family, and this beautiful, chaotic life we’ve built together. I thank God for you every day.”

On the May 25 episode of the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Lala Kent, who has been very critical of Danny’s behavior, reacted to his apology.

Claiming she’s “giving him the benefit of the doubt,” Lala went on to share she thinks Danny “watched it and thought, ‘Oh, this is a mirror, and I need to issue a statement.'”

“It was hard to watch,” she elaborated. “[And] I didn’t know what it’s like to be in a marriage for that long. But I also, I don’t know how to cook, right? But I know what good food tastes like. I don’t need to be in a healthy marriage to know what one looks like and what an unhealthy one looks like. It’s just kind of like you see it and know.”
