Internet personality Brianna Chickenfry spoke out on a podcast to insist that Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson were already a thing by the time the Super Bowl took place.

The Super Bowl game was played on February 9.

Speaking on the Plan Bri Uncut podcast, Brianna shared, “People keep asking me, like, ‘Come forward with the truth, Brianna. Come forward with your truth.’ My truth is this is what I know, because I know that they said they didn’t hook up until after the joint statement. I don’t know for sure, but I’m throwing a f*cking bullsh*t.”

“Let’s just call it what it is. That was crazy for them to even act like that,” she continued. “West told me — and I’ve said it here before — that they were a thing. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but he said, ‘Me and Amanda are a thing’ at the Super Bowl.”

This is of particular interest, as West and Amanda did not reveal they were a couple until they put out a joint statement on Instagram on March 31.

They also insisted on the Summer House reunion’s first part that they were not intimate until after the statement was put out.

As the Summer House reunion continues to air, West and Amanda have been overseas for a wedding in Italy.

They were recently spotted at a restaurant in Sicily, where Amanda was said to be paying the bill.

In the statement they put out on March 31, West and Amanda shared, “We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they added.

The pair also noted they kept quiet about the relationship as their “feelings evolved” because they wanted to “take time to understand exactly what [they] were feeling.”

“We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” Amanda and West said. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
