Ever since Scamanda broke, some have been wishing for this reunion even before the Summer House season wrapped. We. Need. Answers. And we need to know the timeline.
March 2026: Kyle interrupts Lindsay‘s “In the City” confessional to let her know she should check her phone. The West and Amanda joint statement just dropped and Lindsay is reading the word salad in real time…
This is the first time the group has heard confirmation of West and Amanda’s relationship. Jesse calls Lindsay on the spot, aghast at what transpired. Kyle shares that he spoke to Amanda the night before and that West texted him about an hour ago. Kyle is shocked, considering he was tight with West and then he went and did this.
A five-way call ensues. No one is prepared for this, but Carl did pick up on West’s inappropriateness. No one has yet to talk to Ciara, but Mia is thinking of flying home from California to check on her. We all need to know the timeline and Mia believes that at minimum, they have been together since January. And this all went down before the reunion even starts!
April 2026: Reunion day! West and Amanda are sharing a dressing room (lol) and Carl lets KJ know that after 10 years, this is the weirdest thing to happen on the show. KJ states that he is no longer friends with West, the man who feels “zen” walking into this reunion. This is odd considering West is the main reason everyone else feels like they are gonna barf.
Andy checks in with an emotional Ciara, who shares she feels more betrayed by Amanda. All Ciara wants to know is why?!
On top of everything else, there’s a West d*ck pic going around and all the dudes have seen it. This adds to the tension. Amanda plans on shutting down rumors and admits that she feels a lot of guilt towards Ciara. Andy is amazed how calm the couple is considering what they are about to walk into…
Kyle and Ciara give mutual pep talks to each other and the cast starts taking the stage. Because Kyle can’t wear the revenge dress, Lindsay does her part in a tight red number. When Amanda enters the set, it’s like all the air comes out of the room. Ciara is the last to enter and Andy states, “As a shock to no one on Earth, you look incredible.”
West is busy trying to figure out how someone hacked his phone and sent around his nudes. Amanda, who does not appear grossed out by any of the above, states, “it’s so weird I haven’t gotten any.” West admits that the picture is him, despite it being flaccid …and THIS is the man Amanda has chosen.
Kyle is suddenly not looking like the villain in this reunion and Amanda claims she is prepared to own up to what she has done and explain where she is coming from. Ciara is happy to hear that Amanda can actually say their names this time around, a dig at the blanket joint statement the lovebirds made.
Andy points out that two years ago, West “sh*t the bed” at the reunion, but West thinks that there is a lot to be explained to shut down this wild fire of rumors. Carl admits that he IS a mess and Jesse is sad because the friend group is fractured. Bailey feels safe because no one will be breaking up with her, Mia quotes Rhianna, Ben’s missus is a 10/10, and KJ talks about his sadness because of the “fraudulent activity.”
The timeline: In February, Amanda and West were spotted holding hands. Finally, on March 31, West and Amanda released their joint statement confirming their romance. Ciara first suspected something was going on around January 17th because Amanda’s location was at West’s house and Amanda did not answer texts and phone calls. Interesting.
Amanda claims that West was there for her all summer and this does not sit well with Ciara. Ciara points out that she has asked Amanda to hang out, but Amanda asks like her “phone doesn’t work.” As Ciara leans into Amanda, Amanda tells her to F off, which is rich considering Amanda is showing ZERO accountability.
Amanda calls it an “awakening” and points out that she was hanging out with other friends, not just West. Amanda gets incredibly defensive and West does not stick up for Amanda one bit when Ciara comes at her.
Viewers are trying to equate Jesse to Tom Schwartz, but Amanda promises that Jesse knew nothing. West admits that he lied to people on this stage. Ciara believes that West lies about everything he does and that West lives a different life on camera than he does off camera. Oh, and plus, West HAS A GIRLFRIEND named Meija Moreno according to Ciara. Maybe he IS the most fraudulent person on set…
West states that he was “seeing someone” and this girl spent the night with West the night before WWHL. She is the one who made his horse hair tie that he wore to the show. Amanda knows that West was dating this woman and Mia wonders why Amanda is being so messy, acting like one of West’s side b*tches.
West says the statement came out rushed due to all of the layers, proving they knew how crazy the relationship would seem. Amanda interrupts Ciara saying sometimes you can’t like who you are attracted to. Ciara points out that by the state of NJ, Amanda is STILL married to Kyle. Of all the guys, Amanda chose the one guy and so that makes her a “snake in the f*cking grass. You move silent and you’re f*cking deadly.” Ooph.
Carl likens the general statement they made to singing happy birthday without saying a name. Ciara pulls out her phone and begins sharing receipts.
On March 5, Amanda claimed that she was “very much so just friends” with West. Amanda is still swearing that everything between them was PG at that point. In these texts, Amanda continues to deny the rumors to Ciara and only NOW admits to lying. Amanda did not want people to know where she was, hence turning off her location.
“Hi checking in,” wrote Amanda to Ciara. “The internet is [redacted] on one right now and I feel like everything I do is under a microscope and I can’t believe I’m even having to text you this right now but West and I are very much so just friends.”
West was the first one to make the move and their first kiss was at the end of February after a brunch. They slept together after the statement went out and West wants to clear up that this is not a sex scandal. Ciara keeps reading off the past texts from Amanda, making Amanda look diabolical.
“So I can expect for there to be no photo or videos coming out?” Ciara asked Amanda. “Feels like such a widespread rumor for there to be no veracity to it.”
“Nothing different than what I’ve posted myself,” Amanda reassured Ciara. “People have just seen us with each other more and are being psychos.”
Amanda wonders why she is not allowed to pursue something that she feels strongly about and goes on to say mockingly, “No one in this world has ever been in this situation before.” Amanda is trying to downplay the whole thing, while West sits by silently, letting her get slammed. Ciara wants to hear the details before she “puts them in the ground and covers them with dirt.”
Levi, Bailey’s bestie, comes out to join the cast just in time to talk some fun. This summer brought the energy. Ciara’s costumes this season were amazing and Jesse explains that the Lindsay cardboard cut-out got the most action.
Mia, a great addition to the cast, talks about her friendship with Ciara and the loss of her mother. Her grieving process has been very up and down, but she is trying to live for her parents. Mia explains that she broke up with Scott shortly after the summer. Single Mia is not looking for anyone, as she is trying to pour into herself now, rather than jump into another relationship- she’s looking at you, Amanda!
Bailey tries to clarify that she did not mean to upset or offend Amanda at the dinner table with her comment. She was trying to be funny when she said Ben was trying to sleep with Amanda. The way Ben reacted to Bailey’s joke had some people wondering if he has anger issues. Bailey points out that Ben likes to reprimand women. She does not like the way Ben talks to Sabrina and he only “pops off” on women, versus how he delicately handles Kyle.
While Ben may have had a secret girlfriend in Sabrina all season, Carl lights up when he talks about Bailey. In the end, however, he loves their friendship and makes it clear that he is solely focusing on a serious relationship these days.
KJ calls Ciara and Mia his sisters for life, especially after what he went through. He has been open about his mental health and is happy to see that he has the support from viewers. KJ had to go to the hospital for self-harm in the fall and Mia and Ciara were there for him almost every day. Today, KJ has been diagnosed with BPD (borderline personality disorder) and is grateful to be here alive. This is his truth and he wants to be honest about what he is going through.
This summer, Ciara vowed to take down some of her walls. Her North Carolina house showed an intimate side with her family and Ciara explains that the renovations are happening slowly, under the direction of her mother. Ciara is hoping to create a space for people to come together and Mia made sure to let the group know Ciara’s big news about buying her grandparent’s house.
Ciara explains that she softened with West because she is more than a hard exterior. The final night when they made out in the backyard, West claims it was like “ear stuff.” Huh?! Amanda says she was not aware they were canoodling that much. Kyle wonders if West is “breadcrumbing” the audience- was the make-up with Ciara just for a storyline? Ciara points out that West and Amanda getting together is the best kind of revenge.
At no point did West say he was going to date Ciara again, nor did he say he wanted to get Ciara back…but his actions were saying something much different. In fact, West told Ben that he had a crush on Ciara and that when they were together it was “dreamy.” West claims he meant everything he said, but knew he would not be able to be what Ciara needed.
Many things that are “casual” for West, are not casual for Ciara and he claims he was trying to protect their friendship. Not having sex was huge, but Ciara points out that there were flirty text messages AND she spent the night at his place twice in the fall. West states that he made steps to try and keep it as a friendship situation, but he takes accountability for the romantic aspect at the end of the summer.
Lindsay points out that West clout chases and pulls girls. He drops them when they don’t serve him any longer and, according to Lindsay, that’s exactly what he’s going to do with Amanda.
“West, you’re so f*cking good. You’re good at pulling girls, do whatever you need to do to climb the ladder, to clout chase, to get to wherever you f*cking need to go. And then boom, they don’t work for you. They don’t serve what you need to be served and you drop them,” said Lindsay as she blasted West.”
She added, “You’re going to do the same f*cking thing to Amanda when this is not working out because it’s not going to, and you’re not going to be able to handle it West cause you’re a f*cking toddler.”
Ciara jumps on this saying, “Maybe they’ll be together because the best woman for West is someone who is not gonna check him on anything and that’s totally Amanda.” No lies detected.
“She’s very mute, she’s going to be that weak figure that he needs and he can always be the star in the relationship so I actually think that maybe it could work,” added Ciara. Ouch.
Kyle tells Ciara that she is being “a little harsh,” leaving Amanda teary. But Ciara retorts, “that’s your wife. She’s not my wife.” Boom.
Kyle responds to Ciara, “I know. You have every right to feel the way you feel but even that was hard for me to hear.”
