John Gotti‘s grandson, Carmine Agnello, has been arrested.

According to a new report, Carmine, whose mother is the infamous mob daughter Victoria Gotti, was arrested after an alleged domestic dispute in his East Norwich, New York, home.

TMZ obtained details on the incident, revealing that law enforcement stated that Carmine allegedly got violent with his girlfriend after he accused her of cheating on him.

They said he allegedly shoved his girlfriend, and, when she tried to leave, he allegedly followed her outside, slapped her, punched her in the face, and put his arms around her neck.

Investigators added he also allegedly kicked her multiple times and smashed her cellphone, which caused approximately $2,000 in damage.

Carmine ended up being arraigned last Thursday and was released without bail. He was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, and criminal obstruction of breathing.

Victoria’s son has been having a rough year, as it was reported in April that he was sentenced to 15 months behind bars after he pleaded guilty to fraudulently getting $1.1 million in COVID-relief funds. He allegedly used a large amount of the money he obtained to invest in cryptocurrency. He was also ordered to pay $1.2 million in restitution for the ordeal.

Before being sentenced, his mother asked the judge to be lenient, as she said he was planning to donate a kidney to her due to health issues she has.

In March, she told TMZ she’d sooner skip the procedure than see her son give her his kidney and then head to the slammer.

As for why she felt that way, she explained that her dad died in jail of throat cancer, and she saw the way his health issues were handled behind bars. She explained this was not something she wanted for her son.

Carmine’s uncle, John Gotti Jr., also wrote a letter to the judge on his behalf before his sentencing, The New York Times revealed.

In it, he explained that being on the reality show Growing Up Gotti had given Carmine a “distorted sense of reality.”

“Being part of the Gotti family meant growing up with too much attention, expectations and society’s judgment that most kids never have to deal with,” he added, adding there was a lot of pressure that came with having to “live up to the Gotti name.”
