The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora finalized her divorce from Ralph Pittman Jr. last week.
In the wake of the tumultuous battle finally being over, Ralph released an official statement on his Instagram.
Posting a photo with his lawyer, Precious Anderson, Ralph wrote, “This has been one of the most challenging chapters of my life, but I’m grateful for the people God placed around me to help me walk through it with faith, strength, and grace.”
He noted he was “forever grateful” to Precious, who posed alongside him holding a Don Julio 1942 tequila bottle.
“Thank you for believing in me, standing beside me and guiding me through this difficult process with wisdom, dedication and integrity,” he said about Precious.
He also thanked Porsha Williams‘ ex, Dennis McKinley, for connecting him with Precious.
“She did everything you said she would, just like she helped you get joint physical custody💪🏾,” Ralph noted.
“To everyone who prayed, encouraged and supported my family, especially our children, THANK YOU,” he added. “Your grace and kindness mean more than you know.”
Ralph concluded by sharing a reflective message, detailing that “no one” wins when families are feuding.
“My focus now is peace, healing, and continuing to show up for my children with love, strength, and consistency,” he insisted. “Nothing matters more than being the father they need me to be 🙏🏾.”
As previously reported, in the final judgment, Drew was ordered to pay Ralph $2,218 in child support each month. She was also instructed to vacate the home they share after she received payment for her part of the equity. Custody of their family dog was also awarded to Drew, and it was determined that neither party would pay the other spousal support.
The judgment was issued after both Ralph and Drew were given the chance to testify.
TMZ obtained the court documents, which noted Drew’s monthly income is $38,000 per month and Ralph’s is $27,000. These numbers were quite different than those that Drew had submitted to the case, as she stated Ralph brought in over $70,000 a month.
As was reported in April, Drew lost primary custody of their kids and was ordered to leave the home she shared with Ralph.
In court documents, Drew was given until May 31 to depart the house. A judge ruled that due to the “current financial circumstances of the parties,” expenses had to continue to be split by Drew and Ralph until Drew vacated the premises.
The documents also stated that Drew and Ralph were to share joint custody of their children. At the time, Ralph was living in the basement of the home, and it was determined that he would be allowed to go upstairs to get the kids ready for school.
During the school year, Ralph is the parent who was awarded primary physical custody of the children. Starting in August, Drew will have parenting time with her children on alternating weekends.
While the kids had been in Drew’s custody primarily, there were allegations that they were missing an excessive amount of school. Due to this, the primary custody of the children was changed to Ralph.
