Brandi Glanville revealed she has a “tumor” in her face, which perhaps is causing her facial disfigurement of the last “long three years.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared that she went to a cancer specialist after noticing a “lump.”
For several years, Brandi had spoken about unexplained movement in her face, which she thought was caused by a parasite. Earlier this month, she said she’s spent over $100,000 on treatment, though nothing has fixed the underlying problem.
On Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, the star revealed that she finally got a diagnosis after “three years” of not knowing.
“Mama found out that I have a benign tumor in one of my lymph nodes in my face,” she said. “And that could be why the fluid is going around my face and why it’s having a hard time [and why] I can [only] wear makeup for like 15 minutes [before] I have to take it off.”
“A benign tumor is one that’s not cancerous,” she continued. “I [got the diagnosis from] Dr. Tahari. He’s a dermatologist, but he specializes in cancer, because I have this lump over here [near my jaw]. And every doctor that I’ve showed, they’re like, it’s just scar tissue. I’m like, from what? I haven’t had a facelift yet.”
Brandi said there’s “a lot of dismissing” in the medical field.
“But I do appreciate all of you guys writing in and wanting to help me,” Brandi told her fans. “And listen, it’s been a long three years, and I just want to put a ton of makeup on again, get my hair extended. I want to have a glow up.”
A few weeks back, Brandi said she still didn’t know what was causing her facial issues.
“I have to give an update on my face,” she said at the time on Brandi Unfiltered. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me, guys. I thought I was fixed, and then it happened again, and now it’s sinking in. … If I had answers, I would tell you. I’ve been to a million doctors.”
“The only thing that really seems to help is being out in the sun and the parasite medication and the parasite diet,” she went on. “I don’t have answers. … Is there a doctor that specializes in parasites? Because I can’t find one. … I’ve been to a thousand dermatologists. So anyway, we don’t know what’s going on, but I’m here to get to the bottom of it.”
