While some Real Housewives stars don’t like to cop to their plastic surgery procedures, kudos are due to Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga‘s daughter, Antonia, who opened up about her rhinoplasty procedure.
Taking to Instagram, Antonia showed off her new nose.
“The newest version of me✨,” she captioned some photos. “@drsamrizk I can’t thank you enough I love my new nose!! It’s straighter, more defined and the best possible version of me. (And i’m only two weeks post-op). It takes a whole year for the swelling to go down and my nose changes everyday. It was so much fun bringing you all on this journey with me. Before and after pictures coming soon☺️IM OBSESSED🤩.”
Along with sharing new photos, Antonia also kept fans abreast of how hard the recovery has been.
Taking to Instagram to share a detailed look at her third day of recovery, Antonia revealed her nose was “so congested.”

“First off, I want to start with the pressure on day three is insanity,” she stated. “I feel so much pressure here and pressure like right here. My stitches here, I almost want to itch them. My nose has been dripping a lot, and it’s not blood, it’s mucus.”
“Now let’s get into what I take every single day and the stuff I have,” she continued. “Starting off with Q-tips. You need a whole thing of Q-tips. Every second I just have a Q-tip, either cleaning it or wiping the mucus. I was recommended to clean my nose with hydrogen peroxide on my stitches in my nose, nasal spray – this makes the pressure a little bit better and it clears me out a little bit. Definitely saline.”

She also noted she’s using Arnicare gel for her bruises, which “has been working really well.”
“I mean, I don’t have that much bruising at all,” she elaborated. “Extra strength Tylenol and Tylenol PM. Tylenol strength I’ve been taking every 6 hours, and I got prescribed this. I don’t even know what this – these are, but I know I have to take them. Every day it goes down a pill. I was recommended to take vitamin C two weeks before my rhinoplasty and two weeks after, so we’re still doing that.”
She also said she was prescribed antibiotics and an ointment to put inside her nose two to three times a day to keep it from getting infected.
“You need gauze about this big,” she added. “Basically, this is for when your nose drips at night, so you don’t have to get up and wipe it. So I kind of would just fold it like this, place it here, and then that’s where this comes in, and you tape it to your face. And we have those little Arnica pellets – five pellets three times a day.”
Antonia wrapped by noting she “expected much worse” while recovering from her nose job.
“The bruising is not that bad, but there is a lot of swelling,” she said. “You can tell there’s a lot of swelling. And the pressure is like the worst part, I’d say. That’s all I’ve been doing, and that’s how I’ve been feeling, and I’ll see you guys on day four.”
