In The City star Lindsay Hubbard opened up about her split from Turner Kufe amid a major fight with former friend Danielle Olivera that occurred on the show.
“When my baby daddy and I started dating, I just, I thought that this was gonna be my fairy tale,” she told producers regarding her relationship with Turner on the most recent episode of In The City. “I knew that he didn’t love that I was [a] public [figure]. But I guess I just thought we could overcome the differences between, like, the public/private stuff.”
“You know, I was willing to compromise huge things, including my career, to give our family a shot. He didn’t want to do it,” she added.
While having drinks with Kenny Martin, Lindsay also discussed issues she had in her past relationships.
“My relationships haven’t worked out. I can’t sit here and say like, it’s all their fault, and I can’t sit here and say it’s all my fault. But I do think I choose partners that aren’t necessarily, like, healthy for me,” she confessed.
She also opened up about ending her engagement to Carl Radke at the end of 2023.
“Carl had a whole f*cking vat of issues that he’s still working through,” she noted. “But like, what happened at the end of the day? He wound up abandoning me.”
Lindsay pointed out that something similar occurred with Turner, sharing that he also abandoned her.
On the same episode, Lindsay also got into it with Danielle.
While the two had been taking small steps toward mending their relationship, Danielle accused Lindsay of “finding information from the internet” about her man, Eoin Heavey.
Once Amanda Batula noted she was trying to “clear Eoin’s name” due to speculation about the timeline of his marriage to his now estranged wife, it set Danielle off, as she questioned why he would have to “clear his name.”
This led Lindsay to break the fourth wall, stating, “Why is he on this f*cking show?”
She also pointedly asked Danielle, “Why are you on the f*cking show?! If you don’t want to talk about your f*cking life?”
“That’s what it is. You showed your f*cking colors right there. … You hate that I’m here,” Danielle fired back.
Lindsay denied the accusation, as she rebutted that she “sat at The Garret [a bar]” and defended Danielle even though she knows “a lot of s*it” about her.
While Lindsay insisted the “boys” brought up things about Eoin, and she told them she only operated on facts, this still didn’t sit well with Danielle.
“If we are baby-stepping in a direction, I would think that maybe you could text me and be like, ‘This is what the boys are talking about,'” she said. “And the first thing that you do is Google [Eoin] to try to sniff out something that he’s doing wrong.”
As the fight escalated, Danielle ended up getting up from the table and leaving the dinner.
