West Wilson’s ex Meija Moreno revealed she “JUST got laid off” – as fans speculate that she’s joining the new season of Summer House. Recently, West shared that he wasn’t coming back.
At the reunion, Meija indicated that she was West’s secret girlfriend while he was filming the show (before he confirmed his relationship with castmate Amanda Batula). But Meija shared that she’s still in communication with him. According to a source speaking to Us Weekly, Meija was in talks to join the cast next season.
In a July 2 Instagram post, Meija shared a photo of Hampton Water alcohol. (Each season of Summer House is filmed in the Hamptons.)
“I’ve never needed something more after the past 2 1/2 months of my life,” she wrote over the image. “Oh and to top it all off I JUST got laid off.”

Fans then questioned if Meija is indeed joining the show. In the past, several Bravo stars have claimed they were fired because of their casting on the network.
“Meija got laid off from her job. Is it the right time for her to join Summer House season 11?” wrote @thebravoinvestigator on Instagram.
“I think they should hire her,” wrote another fan.
“I want to see her face [and] I hope her star shines bright and gets rich and famous and I hope West and Amanda hate ever minute of it,” said a third.
“Bring her on why not? If not to at least make West squirm,” said a different fan.
Other fans, however, were less enthusiastic – given Meija’s claim that she still talks to West.
No thanks,” said one critic. “We don’t want West and would rather forget about that entire debacle. Sorry Mejia!”
Last week, West recalled the start of his romance with Amanda, who was best friends with his ex Ciara Miller.
“We were hanging out a lot, running around New York. I did see her unhappy for so f*cking long. Hanging out with her and seeing her smiling and having fun … that meant a lot to me, and it probably stoked some f*cking butterflies, and then I brought it up one day. I probably shouldn’t have. But I f*cking did,” he said in a Lucas Brody interview.
“We f*ck f*cked after the statement,” said West, referring to their March 31 post confirming their relationship, “but we’d been like, making out and having sleepovers for a long time. This is my bullsh*t thing, is, I was still doing the wrong thing, but I was like, ‘Oh, if I’m not D in V then I’m not committing a crime,’ which is wrong.”
