Phaedra Parks said there’s “a lot of rich broke” on Real Housewives of Atlanta, as she addressed her co-star, Kelli Ferrell. Around the same time, Kelli’s rep reacted to a report that her wages may be seized over a six-figure unpaid debt.

For years, Kelli and her ex-husband, Mark Ferrell, have had legal disputes over child support. At one point, Kelli hired Phaedra as her attorney to help her out. But after the new season aired, Kelli shared that she wouldn’t have hired her if she knew what Phaedra was saying behind her back. (In a recent episode, Phaedra seemed to support Porsha Williamsrumor that Kelli slept with a married pastor.)

On the Bravo by Betches podcast, Phaedra was asked to share her thoughts about Kelli.

“Obviously, Kelli became a client, and so I helped her through her matter with her child support and the issues she was having with her divorce,” said Phaedra, via @Thegworlsarefightingg on Instagram. “Life-ing can be hard, especially when you’re an entrepreneur. And you know, this season we saw a lot of rich broke. … There was a lot of rich broke going on on the show.”

Meanwhile, according to legal documents via TMZ, Kelli’s wages may soon be seized over an unpaid debt of six figures.

The documents indicate that a company called ARF Financial sued the RHOA star and her Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles restaurant in 2025; after she didn’t respond to the lawsuit, a default judgment of $217,301 (which is growing every day with interest) was made against her.

Per the documents, Kelli’s creditor subpoenaed certain banks to find out if Kelli has funds in the accounts to potentially seize.

Kelli’s rep told the outlet: “This matter stems from a business loan that [Kelli] and her ex-husband, Mr. [Mark] Ferrell, obtained over five years ago, while married.”

Her rep said the issue was addressed during their divorce proceedings, when Kelli claimed that Mark is responsible for this debt. But Mark denied her allegation.

“We are confident that this legal matter will be rightfully resolved, but as of now, [Kelli] hasn’t been officially served,” the rep added.

New episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta air Sunday nights on Bravo.
