Vicki Gunvalson shared what newbie costar Carmella Garcia did after Real Housewives of Orange County “stopped filming.” She also shared an update on Tres Amigas, and addressed the claim that Heather Dubrow’s husband Dr. Terry Dubrow has “inherited money.”
Throughout the years, Heather has shown fans her impressive mansions. Many viewers believe that the couple can afford them because Terry is a successful plastic surgeon. But in a recent episode, Vicki insinuated that doctors don’t make that kind of money (though Heather seemed to deny it).
On Reality Nightcap, Vicki threw shade at Carmella.
“I like authenticity. I like real people coming on. There’s a little bit of inconsistency with [Carmella],” said Vicki. “Does she live in Orange County? Does she live in San Diego? Ironically, when we stopped filming, she’s back in San Diego. So does she really live in Orange County?”
“I can kind of see through the BS, but I’m going to leave it up to the viewers,” said Vicki. “I might be totally wrong, but I have a really good gut on people. … I didn’t really spend a lot of time getting to know her because she kind of annoyed me.”
Vicki said she once called her “Cruella de Vil,” but she “didn’t mean to say that.”
She then gave an update on ‘Tres Amigas’ – the past friendship alliance of Vicki, Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador. (Tamra and Shannon have feuded for several years now).
“The three of us together have a lot of longevity, a lot of time together. It’s like, what are we fighting about? Stop!” said Vicki, who revealed that Shannon and Tamra eventually come together in the season. “They do. I don’t think they’ll ever be at the place that they were years ago, but that’s okay. Now we have a little guard up.”
At one point, Vicki addressed the claim that Dr. Terry has “inherited money.”
“I don’t want to deny that they’re not hard workers and that Terry has a successful practice. I do too,” she said. “But I don’t live in a $50 million house, and I’m not a doctor. I’m not denying it. There was a time and place where we had heard that there was some inheritance … on his side.”
“If there was, good!” said the star, who later pointed out that both Terry and Heather’s fathers have passed away. “I inherited $5,000 when my parents died, and I can say it. But if I inherited $50 million or $10 million, I’d say it. But I think she just doesn’t want people to believe that there might have been some help.”
