Heather Dubrow questioned the success of Vicki Gunvalson’s past business ventures, as she clapped back at Vicki’s acting diss on Real Housewives of Orange County and the insinuation that Heather’s husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, inherited money.

In the new season, Vicki said she heard that Terry, a plastic surgeon, inherited money from his father (suggesting that doctors don’t often live in $40 million mansions). She also joked that perhaps the couple can afford it because of Heather’s acting career.

On Virtual Reali-Tea, Heather called out Vicki’s past business ventures.

“Not to throw shade, but…” said Heather. “…How well did Vicky’s Diamonds, Vicky’s Vodka, Vicky’s Jeans, Vicky’s Wine [do]? I mean … I guess those didn’t do as well as maybe [our business] Consult Beaute, is all I’m saying.”

“[She] also poked at my acting career again. I mean, really?” Heather added. “To me, when you do things like that, that says something.”

She then addressed Vicki’s questioning of how they can afford to live in $40 million mansions.

“Terry and I both have had great careers,” said Heather. “We’ve been really honest when we’ve been swindled out of money, that we got screwed, as many people did in ’08, ’09 in the global financial crisis, all those things. But we’ve also done well.”

Heather said they’ve made “good investments.”

“We’ve made good investments. We have successful businesses that we do,” she added. “So am I supposed to apologize that we’re maybe smarter and more clever with our investments and money?”

Earlier this month on the same podcast, Vicki doubled down on her claim about the alleged inheritance.

“I mean, Terry’s brother passed away. She said [in the episode that] her parents are still alive. No, his father’s passed, and so has her father. And both parents weren’t married when they passed,” said Vicki at the time. “I’m in financial planning. I have a lot of history on legacy planning in regards to where does the money go when people die. It’s going to go somewhere. And if it went to them, good for them. Own it. … I personally think, because I’ve been doing this 36 years, there is a legacy plan.”

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County air Thursday nights on Bravo.
