Kandi Burruss revealed that her daughter Riley Burruss is getting “hate mail” from fans of Next Gen NYC. Kandi also hinted that she won’t return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta unless Phaedra Parks is gone.

In a past season of RHOA, Phaedra admitted that she was the source of a rumor that Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker planned on drugging Porsha Williams. Kandi consistently denied the allegation, and she reportedly gave an ultimatum to Bravo: it was either her or Phaedra. Phaedra was later fired (but came back last year after Kandi left the show).

On the new season of Next Gen NYC, Riley accused her castmate Georgia McCann of doing ketamine, and she seemingly held up her drink as if to throw it at her. Many fans have slammed Riley on social media, though Kandi made clear that she would always have her daughter’s back.

On Speak on It, Kandi shared that Riley is now getting hate mail.

“I hate it for my baby because now she be going through all kinds of stuff. She got hate mail happening,” said Kandi, via @housewivesfromahousewife on Instagram. “People be sending her racist text messages, saying, ‘You black b**ch. You making the show bad,’ crazy stuff. … She’s over here letting that stuff get to her.”

Her cohost then asked if Kandi will ever return to RHOA.

“No, no plans of it,” she answered, via @mrhousewives on Instagram.

“Never?” asked the cohost.

“Well, you know there’s certain people I would never do anything else with,” said Kandi, presumably referring to Phaedra.

Last month on the Next Gen NYC: After Show, Riley shared her disappointment in friend Ariana Biermann concerning Riley’s controversial scene with Georgia.

“I wish [Ariana] would have stepped in earlier. I have friends who step in as soon as they see someone disrespecting me,” said Riley at the time. “Ariana waits until after they’ve already done it, said it several times, and then once she sees me about to say something really offensive, that’s when she wants to step in, and now I look crazy.”

New episodes of Next Gen NYC air Wednesday nights on Bravo. The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights on the same network.
