Annemarie Wiley called 911 on her estranged husband, Marcellus Wiley, shortly after the domestic violence charges against him were dropped. Marcellus then spoke out as Annemarie addressed his alleged “14 years” of abuse.
Earlier this week, the domestic violence charges against the former NFL player were dropped after Florida prosecutors shared that there wasn’t enough evidence, following Annemarie’s claims that he assaulted her and threatened her life. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum later filed for a restraining order and filed for divorce.
According to law enforcement speaking to TMZ, Annemarie called 911 on Marcellus hours after the prosecution dropped the domestic violence case against him, as she claimed he potentially violated the restraining order.
Per the report, officers went to their Los Angeles marital home, which he’s not allowed to enter due to the temporary restraining order. They determined that a crime was not committed, so Marcellus wasn’t arrested.
Marcellus told the outlet, “At the time in question, I was with our children during a supervised visit with NO issues and NO violations. Yet, once again, Annemarie is making allegations against me. This marks the THIRD attempt to have me arrested for an alleged restraining order violation. She’s now 0 for 3.”
“This latest accusation looks like a panic filled distraction from the facts that are getting impossible to ignore,” he went on. “The State of Florida dropped the case, and the public conversation quickly shifted toward questioning her allegations [and] contradictions.”
He also accused Annemarie of “gaslighting.”
“When one narrative collapses, another accusation suddenly appears,” he said. “Welcome to another episode of ‘The Real HouseLies of Annemarie.’ Three attempts. Three failures. At some point, it stops looking like protection and starts looking like a pattern.”
Around the same time, Annemarie spoke out on Instagram.
“While I’m working everyday to support 3 children, with no support from their father, the man who has been abusing me for 14 years is spending his time ranting on social media, lying, intimidating and slandering me,” wrote Annemarie. “He told me many times that if I left him this is exactly what he would do – and that he would make sure no one would believe me – and now you are all getting to witness his true character behind closed doors in real time.”
“He’s more worried about protecting his already ruined reputation than providing for his children, shielding them from the damage he’s already caused, and moving forward and uncoupling amicably,” she continued. “We had already been just ‘co-parenting’ and ‘co-habituating’ for a long time before the incident in Florida where he threatened to kill me.”
Annemarie claimed that the Florida case was only dismissed because “the Florida DA, David Augustine, did not notify me of the hearing, and is conveniently now avoiding my calls.”

“Seems like they like to protect football players down there,” she said. “It does not change the fact that he threatened to kill me. Or that I am finally escaping 14 years of abuse 🙏🏽 Or that I have a domestic violence restraining order against him. Or that I am now a single mother solely supporting her 3 children. I have already filed multiple violations to the Domestic Violence Restraining Order. But our criminal justice system is broken. … This is why women die in the process of leaving abusive men.”
