After Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s marriage fell apart, their money issues came to the forefront.
Along the way, Kim’s daughter Ariana Biermann, who stars on Next Gen NYC, claimed her parents took and spent money she had earned from brand deals and reality television since she was a teenager.
Now, Ariana, 24, has revealed new details about them taking her money.
“When Hudson and I decided to move out, I literally had, I think, like $200 to my name, genuinely,” Ariana shared on the Next Gen NYC After Show for episode eight. “Obviously, we know my parents took my money. I never got a dollar.”
“I just filed taxes on … all the money I never received,” she continued, discussing paying money to the IRS. “Thank you, Jesus, for putting me in a place to be able to do that though.”
Ariana also opened up about how money played a factor in her and Hudson’s relationship issues.
“When we were together, he was so happy for me,” Ariana noted. “It did get to a point, though, where it was kind of like, ‘You’re bringing in more money than I’m bringing in right now. Like, I’m not used to that.’ That definitely was, like, I think, a struggle at one point for him, whether he would specifically say it out loud or not.”
“It wasn’t like he was trying to tear me down or whatever. … He didn’t come to an event with me, which really hurt my feelings, like, a lot, ’cause I was getting paid money and he wasn’t,” she elaborated. “But he was always very happy for me.”
She first opened up about Kim, 48, and Kroy, 40, taking her money in the season one premiere episode of Next Gen NYC.
“I can’t say exactly what they used it for, because I just found out it was gone two years ago,” Ariana divulged in a confessional. “I don’t even know how much money I made over that time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency. And I have no idea where it actually went.”
During a July 2025 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Kim addressed Ariana’s allegations.
“Actually, the rug was pulled out from the Zolciaks,” she shared. “And, yeah, I mean Ariana’s money was spent on bills, to be honest. … I was left, you know, holding the bag for the family.”
