Liam Obergfoll addressed Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour’s hookup, and he shared where he stands with them both today. The Next Gen NYC newbie also hinted at getting DMs from fans.

Despite Liam’s early romance with Ariana, his friend Charlie was seemingly set on getting close to her amid her breakup with Hudson McLeroy. A recent trailer hinted that Ariana and Charlie hooked up, and they were filmed looking flirty on a flight back from Las Vegas for BravoCon.

On SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Liam was asked about Ariana and Charlie’s hookup.

“I had a weird inkling [about it],” he said. “It’s a friend group, and people have personalities and people do certain things and friend groups get messy.”

As for where he stands with Ariana today, Liam shared, “I talk with Ariana. We were talking all the time. And we were talking a lot, so I didn’t necessarily have any worries and stuff, and I wasn’t too panicked with anything, but you know, I’m a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, and I like to trust people.”

“I understand life, and I understand kind of being young and fresh into New York City,” he said. “There’s conversations we had throughout the season, and I was in a place to be hurt and whatever, but she was honest with our communication and the things we spoke about. … She’ll say she made some mistakes, and maybe she did, but I don’t knock her for just being human.”

Later on, Liam shared where he stands with Charlie.

“It’s pretty cordial,” he hinted. “I don’t hang out with him by myself, and I don’t do any of that, but as I say, Charlie’s Charlie and he’s going to be around.”

Host Evan Real asked if Liam is getting DMs from fans wanting to hit him up.

“If someone says they don’t look at their DMs, they’re lying to you. I check, and I look,” said the star. “But I don’t know. … I’m not looking for one-night stands. They’re great, sure, but that’s not my goal in life … I want to find a connection.”

Danny Murphy then asked if Liam thinks Ariana and Charlie “knew what they wanted with each other.”

“I think, at the time, they both kind of did know what they wanted, but I don’t think they wanted the same thing,” he explained. “I’m speaking on Ariana’s side — who gives a crap what Charlie thinks? … I don’t want to be the one putting words in her mouth, but things happen, and I think, you know, people have to do things sometimes just to see something.”
