Season seven of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is getting ready to begin airing on September 16. Prior to any season airing, there are always lots of rumors on social media regarding what may happen on the show.
While some rumors pan out to be true, others turn out to be false.
Recently, a wild rumor popped up about RHOSLC star Whitney Rose.
Specifically, there was chatter that Whitney, 39, lost it during the season seven finale. According to the gossip, things got so heated that Whitney basically lost her mind and ended up breaking a camera. Supposedly, due to this, Whitney was at risk of being let go from the show.
Reality Blurb exclusively spoke to two sources to find out if there was any validity to this rumor, as it sounded juicy but a bit far-fetched.
“There is no truth to this,” one insider explicitly stated.
Another source echoed a similar sentiment, insisting there was “no merit” to the rumor.
“No camera was broken,” they added. “This is completely untrue.”
Last month, a source shared whether Whitney and her husband, Justin, had filed for divorce after a reported split.
“They haven’t taken any formal steps, like retaining attorneys or moving out yet, but they are currently separated,” the insider told Us Weekly at the time. “They’re no longer functioning as a couple. The relationship has essentially come to a standstill, and they’re now trying to figure out what comes next.”
In the trailer for the forthcoming season, Whitney addressed her marital issues with Justin, 58.
“I don’t know if you and I can move forward in our marriage or if it’s over,” she explicitly told him.
Regardless of the aforementioned alleged incident with the camera not being true, RHOSLC is always known for being a franchise that brings it, so it’s likely fans will still be in for an explosive, dramatic season.
