Jeff Lewis hinted he’s going to court with his ex-boyfriend Gage Edward after they failed to reach an agreement, as Jeff shared how much money Gage allegedly asked for amid their recent dispute.

In the past, Gage and the Flipping Out star battled over custody terms regarding their daughter, though the exes seemed to reach a resolution. More recently, according to @sarah_from_texas_podcast_ on Instagram, Jeff and Gage were going to court over some dispute, but they eventually came to their own agreement. Now, however, Jeff says Gage wants him to pay $35,000 for his attorney fees.

On his SiriusXM show, Jeff Lewis Live, Jeff suggested that he and Gage are headed to court, again, because they failed to reach an agreement.

“Hi, Gage. I have a very different recollection of events,” said Jeff cryptically, via @sarah_from_texas_podcast_ on Instagram. “And I [told him], ‘I don’t have the time or energy to indulge in fairy tales. In the interest of compromise and putting this nonsense behind us, I’m willing to contribute $10,000 towards your attorney’s fees.'”

According to Jeff, he also told Gage, “‘If you’re in agreement, I’ll ask my attorney to generate the paperwork.'”

“For $10,000 [for it] to go away, I’ll do it,” Jeff explained. “But of course, he gets back this morning with a justification of why he deserves the 35, but he’ll settle for 25, which I’m never going to pay.”

In January of 2024, Jeff hinted that things were going well with Gage amid their co-parenting, at least for a moment.

“My ex and I, it’s a bit contentious. We have to communicate on our family wizard, which is this app, and then we also have to communicate through our attorneys,” said Jeff at the time on Jeff Lewis Live. “Monroe, when I dropped her off, she was telling me in the car — I drop her off on Sunday at Gage’s — she’s like ‘Daddy, I don’t feel good.’ … [She threw] up everywhere.”

“[Gage and I] don’t speak or whatever, but we immediately jumped into daddy mode and we were, like, getting napkins, wiping her face, like, ‘Are you okay?’ Together,” he continued. “We were like taking care of her, which was awesome. … I was like, ‘I wish we could co-parent like this all the time.’”
