Melissa Gorga revealed the one topic that is off limits for her daughter Antonia Gorga on the Real Housewives of New Jersey – as Antonia reacted, and hinted at why. Melissa also shared the 21-year-old’s recent text.
Though RHONJ was off the air for several years, it recently returned with both Melissa and her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. Leading up to the new season (which just finished filming), the two families reconciled.
On the “Orange Doesn’t Fall Far” podcast, Melissa shared the one thing that is off limits for Antonia on the show.
“I can’t get her to say this on the show: She won’t talk about her boyfriend,” said Melissa. “She wouldn’t have him come over on the show. She wouldn’t allow him on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
Melissa said the boyfriend has “been around for a year,” and Antonia’s father Joe Gorga likes him.
“I like to keep it private,” said Antonia, throwing her mom a look.
“He looks like a mini-Joe,” Melissa continued.
Later in the pod, Antonia was asked if Joe does anything to embarrass her.
“All the time,” said Antonia. “All the time.”
“She uses him all day for TikToks,” said Melissa.
“I don’t use him,” Antonia clapped back.
Later on, Antonia was asked how she feels about her parents’ steamy scenes.
“Oh, like [the one] they just posted like two days ago?” said Antonia. “I can’t. I’m gonna gag.”
Melissa added, “She literally texted us [after the post] and was like, ‘Ew, like, what is this?'”
Antonia was perhaps referring to the following video posted to Joe’s Instagram account. In it, Melissa seemed to be grinding on him at a bar, before she slowly rubbed his thigh. Joe then put her hair in his mouth.
“21 years later and we just keep dating,” said Joe in the caption. “That’s what keeps a healthy marriage I was exhausted, but I was still dance sitting on the chair!”
The new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey recently finished filming. Antonia has shared that she was featured in more scenes.
