On The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14, there was some drama surrounding Teresa Giudice‘s husband Luis Ruelas‘ ex, Vanessa Reiser.
Specifically, Teresa had alleged Margaret Josephs had been in touch with Vanessa to leak information. On the finale episode, it was brought up that Luis’ legal team had subpoenaed Margaret.
In turn, Margaret, 59, replied that they “subpoenaed the wrong b*tch,” and she divulged that it was Jackie Goldschneider who met with Vanessa to gather information she could potentially use against Teresa, 54.
In a new episode of Kim DePaola‘s podcast, Get Real With Kim D, she had Vanessa and her lawyer Doug Anton as guests, and the topic of Jackie, 49, came up.
“She wasn’t lying,” Vanessa said in response to Margaret’s comments on Teresa “subpoenaing the wrong b*tch.”
“We considered pursuing litigation against Jackie, and I’ll tell you why,” Doug added. “She reached out, and the text messages that I saw established a confidential attorney-client relationship where Vanessa was asking her certain questions about the law, about her position, about how she’s been wronged. And Jackie, a member of the Bar at the time, was giving legal advice.”
“Now, understand, if I get a telephone call from somebody who asks me legal questions, an attorney-client relationship is born immediately,” he added.
Doug went on to allege that Jackie was “digging for information.”
After Vanessa admitted that was “true,” Doug had more to add, claiming Jackie was looking for information “about Luis.”
“About, uh, her situation,” he continued. “She was digging in the guise of, ‘I’m on your side.’ And she had a perfect right to expect that that would have been kept… in confidence. And then when we saw an affidavit that she’s like, ‘Let me tell you what this girl’s been saying,’ I was flabbergasted.”
Jackie, Teresa, and Margaret have yet to comment on the information revealed in the podcast.
