Vicki Gunvalson revealed she got in trouble with Bravo over what she said on her podcast. The Real Housewives of Orange County star claimed she got “yelled at,” and she suggested that her castmates don’t get the same scrutiny.
As of now, Vicki, Tamra Judge and Emily Simpson all have podcasts. In the past, other Bravolebs with podcasts have shared that they aren’t allowed to discuss certain aspects of the show. This season on RHOC, Vicki was brought back as a full-time castmate for the historic 20th season.
“I got yelled at,” said Vicki on her podcast, My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, via @housewivesfromahousewife on Instagram.
Vicki’s cohost Christian Gray Snow added, “We don’t like to go to the principal’s office. We’re good kids. We don’t like to be in trouble. We do everything we can to not upset Bravo.”
“I’m always in trouble!” said Vicki.
“Something that was said [here on the podcast] was a little too much, recently, so if you feel that we’re pulling back even more, it is because we’re trying to avoid [getting] Vicki in trouble,” Christian explained.
Vicki suggested that her co-stars don’t get the same scrutiny.
“I don’t know why everybody else gets to talk!” said Vicki. “Why is everybody else getting to talk about the show but I can’t? I got yelled at. … But I’m not talking about anybody else. I was talking about me.”
Last month on Reality Nightcap, Vicki addressed the claim that Heather Dubrow’s husband Dr. Terry Dubrow inherited money.
“I don’t want to deny that they’re not hard workers and that Terry has a successful [plastic surgery] practice. I do too,” she expressed at the time. “But I don’t live in a $50 million house, and I’m not a doctor. I’m not denying it. There was a time and place where we had heard that there was some inheritance … on his side.”
“If there was, good!” she went on. “I inherited $5,000 when my parents died, and I can say it. But if I inherited $50 million or $10 million, I’d say it. But I think [Heather] just doesn’t want people to believe that there might have been some help.”
