Carole Radziwill addressed her name being mentioned in the Epstein Files and her connection to Epstein’s alleged mistress, Ghislaine Maxwell. The Real Housewives of New York star also spoke about her reconciled friendship with Andy Cohen.

Years ago, Carole was friends with Ghislaine, who was convicted in 2021 of child sex trafficking for Jeffrey Epstein. Ghislaine is now serving a 20-year prison sentence. According to the trailer for the new season of RHONY, Sai de Silva questions Carole’s connection to the files.

Last year, Carole reconciled her friendship with Andy after their years-long feud. He later asked her to come back to RHONY, which she eventually accepted.

At a recent panel, in a video shared by @morallycorrupt on Instagram, Carole addressed being named in the Epstein Files.

“This isn’t something I shy away from,” she said. “Me and many, many, many more people found their names in these files. It’s not something I shy away from because I think really it’s important to talk about it; it’s important to be transparent.”

“Obviously, I didn’t know anything, as no one … 20 years ago would have known anything,” she added. “It’s hard to think that someone you knew that long ago and even called a friend at some point was a horrible, horrible person doing horrible things.”

Carole said she was “really nervous” at first when the files “all aired.”

“But I just think it’s an opportunity to talk about it,” she said. “There’s real victims and survivors that were brave enough to really stand up to these very, very powerful people.”

At one point, Carole also addressed her reconciled friendship with Andy.

“I’ve known him for a very, very long time, and you know we, we’ve been through it almost like Housewives,” shared Carole.

“Every time I see him, I start to cry. And it’s just like — now I’m starting to cry again — but it’s been great knowing him as long as I’ve known him, and it’s been great coming back,” she explained. “And I’m thankful to him.”

Andy himself then reacted, saying, “Carole brings the entire Ultimate Girls trip to tears in episode seven. In episode seven, so watch out for that.”

Season 16 of The Real Housewives of New York premieres Tuesday, September 8 on Bravo.
