Fans of The Traitors were shocked when it was recently revealed that season two contestants Phaedra Parks and Christopher “CT” Tamburello were an item.
While the pair were flirty on the show, it seemed to be nothing more than a platonic relationship; however, that has clearly changed.
Phaedra, 52, recently shared photos of her and CT, 46, on her Instagram from the Creative Arts Emmy Awards this past weekend.
“Some came for the awards,” she wrote. “I came with the prize. Thank you to the real trophy for making a beautiful night even better. #Emmys.”
In the wake of Phaedra and CT’s big reveal, her ex-husband, Apollo Nida, commented on her new relationship.
When speaking to TMZ, Apollo, 47, insisted he’s happy for her. He noted everyone deserves love and that, as long as CT treats Phaedra and the sons Apollo shares with her well, he has no concerns.
Finally, Apollo said he doesn’t keep tabs on who Phaedra is dating, and they mostly communicate about their children.
Catalina White, who is CT’s estranged wife, also spoke to TMZ about her ex, urging him to finalize their divorce.
“I genuinely wish Chris well in whatever relationship or career he chooses to pursue,” she said. “I’m not interested in commenting on whether his new relationship is real, for publicity, or anything in between.”
“What I would like is for him to put the same energy into ending our marriage that he’s putting into publicly promoting his new relationship,” Catalina, 40, added, explaining she filed for divorce in January but felt pressured by CT to withdraw the case.
Months later, CT ended up filing, but it has now been dragging on for months.
“Since then, I’ve been trying to finalize this divorce,” she claimed. “My counsel has made repeated efforts to move things forward as quickly as possible, and we continue to wait for his cooperation.”
Catalina went on to state that she does “not – and never did – need or want money from this man. I’m not asking for anything from him other than his cooperation in finalizing our divorce.”
“If Chris is ready to publicly move on, he should be ready to legally move on too,” she concluded. “Sign the papers!”
Catalina previously urged CT to “sign the papers” with a comment on an Instagram post about his relationship with Phaedra.
