Since she made her debut on The Real Housewives of New Jersey in season three, Melissa Gorga has been a staple of the franchise.
Her husband, Joe, who is also Teresa Giudice‘s brother, has also been a big focus on the show due to his humor and larger-than-life personality.
Now, Joe, 52, is getting ready to have the spotlight shone on him, as he is set to star in a new Hulu reality show called The Mob.
According to Deadline, the show, which premieres on October 26, will be a reality competition hosted by Parker Posey.
It will follow a group of celebrities in an Italian villa as they try to compete for a $250K prize.
In each episode, the celebrities will try to survive by doing jobs inspired by mafia films.
As is common in the mafia, there will be a “don” of the family who will be awarded absolute power, giving them the chance to decide who makes money and who will remain on the show.
Aside from Joe, the cast will be comprised of Bruno Tonioli from Dancing With The Stars, Demi Engemann from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Chelsea Lazkani from Selling Sunset, Willam Belli from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Shane Parton from The Bachelorette, Maria Georgas from The Bachelor, Harry Jowsey from Let’s Marry Harry, Debi Mazar from Younger, a musician named Romeo, and Aida Turturro, who starred on HBO’s hit mob series The Sopranos.
Deadline noted the show is being produced by Studio Lambert and Primal Media, and that the format for the show was thought up by Adam Wood and Mat Steiner.
Susan House is the showrunner, while the aforementioned host Parker is an executive producer.
Joe took to Instagram to confirm the news, writing, “#TheMob coming October 26th @hulu This show was right up my alley! 🇮🇹.”
