Danielle Cabral clapped back at Jeff Lewis’ “white trash” comment, calling it “disgusting.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who wasn’t asked to return for the new season, also called out Andy Cohen, and she hinted at her mom’s past interaction with Jeff.
Two years ago, Jeff made a joke on his radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, about “white trash kids” buying clothes from Danielle’s “awful” Boujie Kids brand. Jeff, who stars on Bravo’s Still Flipping Out, is known for making inappropriate jokes on air.
“Here’s a prime example of a privileged man with a platform who has become far too comfortable using it to tear people down,” wrote Danielle in an Instagram post, as she shared the 2024 clip. “Jeff, say whatever you need to say about me. You don’t like me? Fine. You don’t like my clothes? Fine. You want to make fun of my business? Have at it. It says far more about you than it ever will about me.”
“But referring to CHILDREN who wear my clothes as ‘white trash’ is disgusting and completely unacceptable,” she went on. “These are little girls who love tutus. Kids who get excited to put on an outfit that makes them feel special. They come from all different families, backgrounds and circumstances and somehow you decided they were fair game for a cheap laugh.”
Danielle said she’s “never liked” Jeff or “rocked with [his] vibe.”
“My mother did. She watched your home show,” said the star. “In fact, many years ago she spotted you in an airport, stopped you and asked you for a picture. She was so excited to meet you. Watching this [clip] now, that actually makes me sad.”
“You have a daughter. Think about that for a second. And what exactly did you mean by ‘white trash kids who need clothes,’ Jeff?” she asked. “Were you talking about children whose parents can’t afford expensive clothing? Families who are struggling? Kids who don’t come from the same privileged circumstances yours does or The likes of the talent on Housewives?”
Danielle then called out Andy Cohen, claiming he needs to “do better.” (Jeff Lewis Live is on Andy’s SiriusXM channel, Radio Andy.)
