Southern Charm’s Salley Carson Claims Austen Kroll “Yelled” at Her and “Left Me at [a] Bar,” Plus Recalls When She Recently Woke Up Naked Next to Him as Lala Kent Reacts

Salley Carson claimed that Austen Kroll “yelled” at her and “left me at [a] bar.” The Southern Charm star also recalled when she recently woke up naked next to him as Lala Kent reacted.

Though Salley and Austen have hooked up in the past, Austen has made it clear that he sees her only as a friend. But recently, Salley said that Austen gets jealous when she’s with other men. Earlier this week, however, Austen publicly denied this.

On their “Sex Unlocked” podcast, Salley’s cohost Lala shared her thoughts about a hypothetical romance between Salley and Austen.

“I don’t know that that’s the move,” said Lala, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “I think that might really f**k your world up.” She then brought up Salley’s new mystery man, who they refer to on the podcast as “Ghost.”

“I don’t know what you should do, because now with the ‘Ghost’ of it all, it was like there were all these red flags, and now [Ghost has] kind of like shown up to the table with acting different, you know, like he texts you and stuff.”

Salley then responded.

“[Ghost is] communicating more than I’m communicating with him. Like he’s doing everything right. And I’m like the one that’s pulling away. And like he obviously has a right to worry about Austen,” she said. “I mean, nothing’s going on sexually with me and Austen.”

“No, but you woke up naked next to Austen,” said Lala.

Salley admitted this was true.

“And I understand why [Ghost] feels unsafe. [Austen] yelled at me. Saturday night, we all went out to watch football, and he like yelled at me,” said Salley, who shared that they had been taking shots. “I didn’t even know what he was yelling about. Like he just didn’t make sense. And then he left me at the bar.”

“And then he texted me, and he was like, ‘Come over. Like I’m feeling distraught.’ So I like went over there,” Salley continued. “I [had] texted Austen and I was like, ‘you yelled at me at the bar.’ And he said, ‘what? Salley, I can’t handle football Saturdays.’ … He’s like saying he gets too drunk. And I was like, I’m not mad at you. And then he said I’m sorry.”

At this point, according to Salley, Austen then claimed that they were getting “dangerously close” to how they used to be before they “had talks about defining our friendship.”

“[He said], ‘we’re starting to toe the line again, and I don’t want to f**k up our friendship,’” she recalled. “And I’m like, same. And we haven’t kissed or done anything, but … he was like, ‘we’re getting back to [a place] where the guy that you liked didn’t want to date you because of how close we were.’”

But Salley said she didn’t remember what guy Austen was referring to.

“But like, there have been guys in my life that are like, ‘you and Austen are too close, I can’t handle that.’ And like, so me and Austen wouldn’t hang out one on one. But we’ve gotten so close in our friendship again to where we’re like hanging out one-on-one again,” she said. “But like, nothing happens.”

“Nothing’s going to happen with me and Austen like anytime soon,” she added. “Or maybe not at all. I just love having him in my life as a friend.”
