Former Bravo producer Patrick McDonald clapped back at Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis after he shared why the network allegedly isn’t suing Patrick over his comments about Shannon Beador. Patrick called Jeff “obsessed,” and reacted to his claim that Patrick is making Bravo stars feel “unsafe.”
Last month, Patrick shared on the Juicy Scoop podcast that Shannon had meltdowns while filming Real Housewives of Orange County, and she mistreated the crew. Her friend Jeff then defended her, and shared that Bravo allegedly isn’t taking legal action against Patrick – despite him having signed an NDA – because the network doesn’t want to get involved. Jeff, however, suggested that they should.
On his Renegade Rainbow podcast, Patrick clapped back at Jeff.
“Speaking of men nobody asked to hear from … apparently Jeff Lewis has been talking about me every single day on his podcast for the past week,” said Patrick, via @housewivesfromahousewife on Instagram. “[This is] according to Crystal Kung Minkoff and Cynthia Bailey on their podcast, Humblebrag.”
“Somebody sent me a clip of [Cynthia and Crystal] talking about how Jeff has been obsessively talking about me every single day [on his radio show],” continued Patrick, who’s also an adult content creator. “I mean, dude, every single day, that is wild work. I mean, if you want me to send you a discount code for my subscription fan sites, I can do that. It’ll probably make it a lot easier for you.”
He then addressed how Jeff suggested that Bravo should take legal action.
“Apparently he was going on and on about how like, ‘Bravo needs to tighten up the NDAs because this guy’s speaking out against my friend Shannon and it’s making people feel unsafe. It’s making people who make shows like this feel unsafe,'” Patrick added. “[That] is just so preposterous.”
“[It’s] so funny when people tell on themselves,” he continued. “The only people that would have a problem with someone speaking out against behavior like [Shannon’s] is someone who exhibits that same exact behavior.”
A few weeks ago on Jeff Lewis Live, Jeff shared that he spoke with production of his own show – after Patrick began speaking negatively about Shannon.
“[I stated that] if I do another season of this Flipping Out … I want that entire crew to sign NDAs,” said Jeff at the time. “They said, ‘They do sign NDAs.’ I said, ‘[Then] what’s the problem? Why is this guy [Patrick] getting away with this?’”
“Allegedly, Bravo doesn’t want to get involved,” Jeff went on. “They don’t want the bad publicity. But in my mind, they’re not protecting their talent.”
