Scheana Shay revealed why she didn’t film for Celebrity Weakest Link amid Tom Sandoval’s recent booking on the show. She also shared where she stands with Ariana Madix, and addressed how Stassi Schroeder keeps talking about her on television.
On each of Stassi’s recent reality shows, she seems insistent on speaking negatively about Scheana, her former castmate of Vanderpump Rules. They feuded often on the show, but they haven’t filmed together in many years.
While answering fan questions on her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana was asked if she would ever join Vanderpump Rules’ spinoff, The Valley.
“I did have a great offer last season, as did Brock which we passed on because it just didn’t feel like it was aligning with us at the time,” she said, via Dear Media. “I am always going to be platforming my life somehow. I don’t know that the Valley is the platform for that.”
Scheana then was asked if she was “jealous” that she’s not being booked for shows like Sandoval – after he was recently on Weakest Link.
“Little did you know that I’ve had quite a few offers for shows that my previous castmates have been a part of,” she answered. “For Weakest Link, I actually was asked for that one, the timing for that just wasn’t going to work.”
As for where she stands with Ariana today after their past drama – and if she’ll go see her for her new Broadway role – Scheana stated, “I cannot wait to see her new show. I’ve heard she’s fantastic, which I already know because I saw her twice in Chicago. I’m so proud of her.”
On their last season of Pump Rules, Scheana was criticized for expressing some sympathy for Sandoval, who Bravo fans hated after he cheated on Ariana.
On the podcast, Scheana was also asked how she feels about Stassi “not being able to stop talking about” her.
“Did she say something new that I missed?” asked Scheana. “I have her muted. I don’t know. If there’s something new, apparently I need to catch up.”
