Crystal Kung Minkoff shared what really caused her falling out with the “14 friends” group, and she revealed her recent encounter with one of the women who was once “incited” in the past to “come after me.”
On a past season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal recalled that she was dropped by a group of 14 friends who she was once close with. At the time, some castmates questioned if Crystal was revealing the full story.
On Reasonably Shady, Crystal shared more insight into what caused her falling out with the “14 friends” group.
“I had one particular friend [in the group] who had always wanted to be on [Real Housewives of] Beverly Hills,” said Crystal. “And then I got the call — they asked me. I called her [and told her the news]. Not only did she just not be my friend anymore, she actually rallied a group of my friends and told them things that I said about them that I actually didn’t [say].”
Crystal claimed she used the number “14” because it “felt” like the “whole world was against me.”
She also recalled her recent encounter with one of the women in the group who was “incited” in the past to “come after me.” The encounter took place at a “big Hollywood party,” and Crystal’s “stomach dropped” when she saw that the woman was there.
“[She said], ‘Hi Crystal! How are you?'” recalled Crystal in a fake-nice voice. “And I’m like, ‘Hi!’ And she’s like, ‘It’s so good to see you.’ — And this is the woman that would make sure that I would never be in the room.”
“The whole night, I was being friendly, and then I get in the car … slam the door. I’m pissed,” she said. “I’m pissed at them. I’m pissed at myself, because why do they deserve me being fake to them? … I want them to know what they did.”
Crystal exited Real Housewives of Beverly Hills years ago, though some fans have speculated, after she appeared on the newest season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, that Bravo might be bringing her back. Her friend Jeff Lewis, however, suggested that this wasn’t the case.
